How to install the LED in Nicostick?

I know this should be asked in mod section, but due to your rules, i'm unable to post there...

Been lurking for quite some time, and did have an older account which I forgot all the information for anyways. I'm about to make my first mod, and one of the boxes is clear. I've ordered a couple LED's, can somebody point me to a diagram which shows me because I can't seem to find one.

Hi, and welcome to ECF.

Generally, you'll want to wire the LED in series with a current limiting resistor, and wire those in parallel with the atomizer connector. Here is a good schematic:

That site also has instructions on a pretty nice mod, IMO.

The value of the resistor can be calculated, if you have the forward voltage and current ratings for the LED. Here is a simple online calculator:

If you don't have the specs on the LED, you might want to try several resistors in series, and see what brightness you get, removing them until you get the desired result.
