how to open the lid effectively?

how do you open the nipple (corrected)/lid/'drip tip' from the ml juice bottle? do you use a tool?

i seem to press the bottle inadvertently whenever i open it which waste of few drop of juice =(

here's to hoping to see/be advised for a foolproof method! sorry im noob! =p

I just use my hands, I set it on a surface, use a couple fingers to push down on the bottle and usually just push sideways on the tip gently but firmly until it pops.

Well, I only apply pressure to the neck area when I'm removing the inner cap, and push it over slightly with a thumb. Of course, I'm only doing this to refill a bottle so I don't have a wasting issue....

Does your bottle of juice have a little "nipple" tip that you want to remove? They will generally just come off with a little bit of effort by bending it between your thumb and finger and pulling it off the bottle.

You are aware that this "nipple" top has a hole in it that you can drip the juice from?

yes the top of the juice bottle... the one you called nipple. i know i can drip without removing it but i'd rather use the one with the needle cap. *i take the nipple out and replace it with a needle cap then drip/fill. much 'safer' for me. i haven't gotten the hang of dripping off the nipple yet. besides i might be clumsy.

I finally broke down and bought some needle tipped bottle caps. SO once I get the dripper tip off I just put one of those on and it makes filling things so much easier for my unsteady hands.

Just wet a paper towel and use it to push the tip off. I had one bottle I had to take pliers to.

the one dollar bottles are not a bad deal you can just use the top off it on your active liquid bottle.

I use a paper towel and pop it off by pushing to one side. Don't like the feel of juice on my fingertips.

unscrew the cap... without taking the cap off, pop it to the side, the dripper tip should come right off. to put the tip back on i just leave it in the screw cap, line it up to the top of the bottle, apply a slight amount of pressure, and start screwing the cap back on... pop! tip is back on.
