I made the dumb mistake of trying a new flavor (strawberry cotton candy) in my favorite atomizer and the juice was absolutely repulsive. This was 2 weeks ago and this liquid sticks to atomizers like you wouldn't BELIEVE. I really need to know of a way to remove all traces of the flavor from this atty.

Things I have already tried:
--Blowing out (do this about 6 times a day regardless)
--vaping unflavored 50/50 PG/VG solution
--Force flushing the 50/50 PG/VG solution
--Dry burning
--Sitting the atomizer upside down on a paper towel for 48 hours after blowing out AND without blowing out for 48 as well

This flavor just WILL NOT come out and it's so bad that it's literally nauseating to taste every time I take a drag. It sticks to this atty worse than Atomic Cinnacide. Ridiculous... I wish it came with a freakin warning.

So are there any other ways to get this flavor out of the atomizer without rinsing or washing?? Or is washing/rinsing my only option? Can someone please tell me how to boil an atomizer the safest/most gentle way possible? Thanks in advance!

When I try new flavors I use my atomizer and get the nasty flavors out by holding it with tweezers under hot running water for a few seconds then blowing water excess out, I repeat this a couple times and than let it sit and dry for about an hour or so. So far this has work fine with no damage to atomizer whatsoever..

Is one hour actually enough time to completely dry??

Has been for me, guess it could depend on what atomizer your using.. I make sure to blow/suck out all the water before letting it dry and no problems so far... I done this with the M401/402 and joye 510 atomizers, the latter being the ones that needed the or so part :)

How much do your atties cost? Otherwise, here's what I would do. Rinse the atty with water, then pour some hydrogen peroxide into a cup, not enough to cover the atty, but about half way, then pour an equal amount of bleach to cover the atty. It will fizz and expand quite a bit. Stir it around a bit. Then let it sit for at least an hour. Then rinse very, very well with water, smell it for any signs of the old flavor, if you smell the old flavor, then do the Crest Pro Health mouthwash soak overnight. If it smells okay, let it dry over night and drip the flavor you want. If this doesn't work, I would just dedicate that atty to that flavor. I do this with flavors with atties and cartos anyway.

I dont even wait for it to dry I hold it with tweezers and run it under the hottest tap water I can get and blow it out thoroughly and dry burn it at 3.7 volts right away. Ive had no ill effects at all and no prblem with the atomizers and it takes some nasty flavors out very well

Okay here's what I did (thanks to Vaporadam for being so thorough and walking me through it) I ran it under incredibly hot water occasionally blowing it out for 15 minutes nonstop. Then I blew all the water out and set it up in front of a blowdryer on Med heat, Med blowing power, and voilà it was clean BUT now there's a funny taste to it... A burnt taste almost... How do I get rid of THAT?

Dkrom I didn't see your post until after I just posted my last messge. I did a tiny quick dry burn (literally like one second) to make sure it worked after that whole procedure and the burnt taste from the dry burn absolutely will not go away no matter how much I flush it out with a VG/PG solution. So should I repeat the cleaning process and skip the dry burn after to avoid burnt taste??

You might try soaking it in peroxide, I use it with good results, and I have had much the same problem with a juice clinging to the atty.
Fill up a small glass, let it soak for a good 2 or 3 hours, then just rinse with water, I use warm not hot, seems to work on mine.
Good LUck.

My method is:
Soak atty in steaming hot water for an hour, blow out atty, repeat.
Then soak in PGA (or if it is illegal in your state, use 151 rum) overnight.
Warning, soaking in PGA overnight could damage the exterior paint job on the atty. I've had this happen, and now I have a very nice brushed steel finish atty out of the deal.

it doesnt even need to completely dry, you can just blow it out, add liquid and start vaping. it will probably take a few minutes to start producing good vapor again, but just keep on hitting it, and it'll come back to life perfectly
