Yeah, I don't get it, so many people seem to do great with other things at six volts, but only the regular 510 cartos seem to work for me. Ohms/schmohms...even this clearo thing I have now, which is suppose to be good at 6, nope, however, this is the first gadget I've like on 3.7 in a long while. I hate attys and cartos seemed to hard to draw on so after a year, I got all my accessories balanced with my chucks. I'll get to play some more in the next several weeks. I should not have gotten stuff myself but no regrets at all, hubs and I have skipped all the holiday giving for a long while now, self sacrificing, even of material goods needs a break every now and then. :)

Hi NSG and Poeia. Valentines day, crazy at work and by the time I left work on Tuesday I had all the Easter candy out and set. As I always say, same crap, different package.

Today was running around day, thank goodness for those gps things....me and over populated suburbia is just not a good thing. :)

Poeia, any luck on the job hunt?

I had a cat and birds long ago. They did fine together but I didn't have the birds out loose. What you need is a little rat terrier Poeia! They like to hunt rodents. A dog can be easier trained to leave the birds be, a cat, well if you have it hunting then it won't just stop at mice. They are either hunters or not.

My son is going to need to get a good mousing house cat I think. He's out at the farm and is sick of the mice, it didn't help that we had the house empty for a few years. The only thing stopping him is that he has the pugs and one of the favorite past times of our dogs was to bark at the shop cat.

Poeia hatched on September 18, 1992 and came home on December 4. So we've been together for 18 years. Annabella hatched 4 years later on September 26, 1996. She was 5 months old when she came home (March 1, 1997.)

I took Poeia to the pet store to meet her before I brought her home. Poeia didn't want to play with her but was fine with Annabella sitting on one of my shoulders while she took the other (or my hand or my shirt.) Apparently she didn't realize that if she tolerated Annabella there, she'd be coming home with us and staying!?!?!?!

Steven, I live in a 13th floor apartment. I think any cats would be pretty well limited to hunting in here.

ETA:
Poeia would have a nervous breakdown and scream 24/7.
She'd get Annabella worked up and she'd add to the screaming.
Any cat that came too near Poeia would have puncture marks.
Annabella might be interested in playing but the first time a cat took a swipe, claws out, it would end up with a foot crushed in that beak.
Both birds would have bite marks.

Don't think my birds would work well with cats. I know some that co-exist (supervised) just fine.

We have had a pack of dogs in the house for well over a decade. Prior to that, we had one, two. Since that the most I have had is seven (15 if you count a large puppy litter-that was crazy)
When we lost of first two boxers we had had since we were first married, we went about a year without a dog. We were in the middle of moving, had three small kids etc. We decided it was time for another boxer. A pretty little white one, we named her Mimi. She became the matriarch of our dog bunch. Everytime we brought home a new puppy she was all smiles and she always took it upon herself to teach the new member all the rules and the ropes about living here. The dane and the brindle boxer were always good about new additions too but the brindle boxer is like the group instigator, he likes to stir the pot and enjoys getting everyone including the neighbors dogs to take part in his antics. He also actually goes and visits neighbors etc, bangs on their doors, sees if the kids will come out and play, gets their dogs all riled up, goes inside for a snack etc...depending on which neighbor it is.
Since my son took the pugs, we now just have the old brindle boxer and the two chi's. Won't get anymore dogs till we finally get this house sold and give ourselves about a year to resettle and get stuff in order. I don't think Rusty the brindle boxer will be around by then and while my daughter's chi will be okay with another dog, the little prissy chi named Trixie will be very bent out of shape. I always tease Trixie, I tell her if she doesn't behave I won't pay attention to the sky when we go on our walks and some big ol owl is gonna swoop down and take her!

Ordered my first chuck after a year plus of a few posts but mostly lurking on the saturday thread. Might go to the middle east so i didnt go with any thing flashy, just black. Cant wait to hold it. Got my 18650s all charged and ready to go. The wait is killing me.

Once you get it you'll see it is worth every agonizing minute. Especially if you've been using just the traditional type batteries. Congrats on your purchase. Watching pron will be tough for you, it might be hard to tell when yours is up, alot of folks go with basic black. :)

I think you should have gone illustrations from the Kama Sutra. That would go over well in the Middle East.
