Have a ego-T tank PV and three atomisers for it (one LR). All of them experience leaking, what happens is the liquid flows from the atomiser down into the screw on battery and then out on the outside of the battery itself. I have to dissasemble it, clean it then put it all back together.

It happens at random times... I've also tried changing the tank with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

The #1 cause of eGo-T tanks leaking is dragging too hard and fast because the suction caused by fast, hard dragging pulls more juice through the wick than can be vaporized by the coil. The result is the build-up of juice and eventual leaking like you describe. Try a soft, slow drag and see if that helps. Besides stopping leaking on eGo tank systems, as with most other vaping systems, soft, slow pulls have the added advantage of increasing vapor production, flavor and throat hit.

Also make very sure that the tank is fully seated in the atomizer cone. There is a slight shoulder on the tank that should .... right up against the top of the cone. Usually you'll feel and hear a soft "click" when the tank is fully inserted but I've had a few tanks that were hard to insert all of the way, leaving a 1/16 inch gap between the shoulder and cone top that wasn't very noticeable unless I looked carefully or ran the edge of my thumbnail over the joint between the tank and cone.

I hope this helps.

Interesting ...
I have an eGo, but with a "monster atty and monster cart" ... very pleased.
I drip but there are times I load up the cart.

My brother called me a month ago to discuss an unrelated subject...
But of course, e-cigs came up in conversation (he also has an eGo)
and he mention he has tried everything but his tank leaks like a sieve ...

I suggested the "monster atty and monster cart" and he ordered them.
A few days later, he called back and was thrilled, 100% satisfied.

Those eGo enthusiast who are experiencing leaking tanks
and not married to tanks ... there are alternatives

I used an Ego T for 10 months, both sr and lr attys. The only times i had leaking or flooding issues was when the the silicone filler cap wore out, not fitting tight around the needle plate. Or when the wick was pushed down too far in the needle, and or the wick wore out getting smaller in diameter allowing more juice to flow.
Make sure you are using good tanks, no cracks in them.
Use the silicone filler caps instead of the hard plastic ones.
Make sure your wick is in good condition, and is adjusted properly in the needle plate..
Note: if the wick is set too high you not get enough juice.
Good luck and feel free to pm me on any ego t questions.
