I've been doing a simple soak in hot water for an hour up until this point, but the flavor that was in my nautilus simply won't leave. So, what do you all do to clean your (glass) tanks?
Completely disassemble the tank, top from bottom after base with atty is off. Rinse all parts under warm water and dry off. You can dry burn the atty but it will change after a few hits with you new juice in it. Good lick.
I don't have that particular tank, but in general: juice can stick in threading and under o-rings, so go over the threads with a damp rag/soft brush and remove any juice soaked o-rings and rinse them separately.
I use dish soap and the hottest water my tap will provide. Pull everything apart. Let parts (except atomizer core) soak until the water starts cooling off (or longer). Wipe all surfaces with vaper towel.
After a good cleaning with warm water I let my protank parts bathe in isopropyl alcohol for a few hours, then i rinse them out with hot water and let them dry.. Just make sure you're dealing with pyrex and not plastic. the old wick will hold onto the old flavor for a few hits. if the old juice was particularly strong you may need to change out the head to get rid of the flavor completely.
