It could be a ohms/ volt issue. Like to much watts

I have a vv mod and i had the same burnt taste. I have a 2.2 ohm atty and volts was at 4.4 volts. Then dropped it too 4.2 volts and its vaping great.

Dripping does take some time to know when too drip and how much. I sometimes drop two and sometime drop three. So it all depends

Dripping is all about how many drops you put on the bridge and being able to discern when to add more. I'd recommend ordering a 306 LR (low resistance) dripper atty with a Delrin drip tip. The bridge is large and tall to hold the right amount of juice and the coil is optimized to provide the best dripping experience.

If you are using a 2.5 ohm or 3.0 ohm atty to drip, you will be disappointed at 3.4v or 3.7v. Low resistance (2.0 ohms) is key for dripping on an eGo battery.
