I just got a bunch of clearomizers in a trade and took a piece of steel tubing I had cut off of a metal ce2 and cut that to the propper length than removed the clearomizer tube and replaced it with the steel tube I cut down. Now I have an adapter that I can re-use. The fit is really tight I needed to use pliers to get the tube on. The best part is now I don't have to cut down any more ce2's. No leaks, there is an o ring on the clearomizer base that will seal it inside the tube.

When I say that I use a modded dual coil in my tank, this is what I mean. I swap the clear tube for the SS tube from a CE2. This way I don't have to change the O rings in the tank or worry about leaks.
The funny thing is that 1st we modded the SS CE2s to make them clear, now that the clearos are out we are modding them back to SS.

Funny you said that, I just got some steel tubing to replace the polycarbonate and pyrex tubing on my tank
