Hi all,
This is my second attempt as the first got eaten by the timeout monster so I hope it's not too disjointed.
I decided to start investigating ecigs on a lark after talking about how anti-smoking (unless it's MJ) it is in this area. I've been a clove smoker/skoal chewer on and off for 25 yrs often doing both at the same time. I found this forum and finally decided on the 510. I ordered the 510 kit, pcc and pt from cignot which I promptly received on the 29th of Oct. Over the course of that weekend I vaped like crazy and only smoked 4 analogs the entire time. My father who has been smoking most of his 74 yrs asked me to order him a kit that weekend after talking with me. Since then I've tried one analog, which no longer tasted right, and quit chewing. At this point I've been tobacco free since 2 Nov. My father has cut back to half a pack or so and is keeping at it. The next target is the wife but her first try she wasn't too convinces as the TH may have been too much for her. I'll keep at it though and hope she eventually tries again. Until then the kit sitting for her can be my spares if needed.
I've been very impressed with the vendors I've tried both for their promptness as well as personal attention to their orders. I ended up asking Vicki at Cignot for more business cards I was talking up ecigs that much. Geoff at TastyVapor has been extremely helpful and I love his kretek. VaporGalaxy's clove crush is also very awesome.
Like many new vapers I've been wasting a ton of ejuice over filling or not filling cartomizers correctly but I understand it's a learning process. Thanks to everyone that makes the great videos explaining how to do the many things associated with an ecig (filling carts, cleaning, reviews, ect...) In the meantime I've probably been going overboard buying different flavors from places trying to find what I'll like.
I just picked up a 5V VP-PT and have to say WOW 5V makes a very nice difference. Now if I can only recoup some of my smoking costs by offloading the smokes that arrived the day after I ordered my 510
That I'll probably never touch again, Yea!, then I'll be golden (or spend it on some other ecig to try... hehe)
