One trick with the JS... take a loooooooong hit. Hit it until the LED glows red. That will increase the throat hit a bit.

Try a "double clutch" on the JS. After the LED goes red, release the switch and press it again for just a second before inhaling. Hits like a Lucky Strike. =)

For the life of me, I can't suck it in for any longer than about 4 seconds.

When I first started vaping and watched the videos of people taking these long, long drags it frustrated me to not be able to do the same thing. But, about 2 or 3 weeks in, when apparently my lung capacity increased by not smoking analogs anymore, it came to me too. Nowadays, I get disappointed when the JS LED turns red signaling that the circuit is about to shut down to protect the atty.

Gonna disagree with Angus here (for a change) though. I don't do a direct inhale at all. That to me is a throat burn, not a throat hit. I take the vapor into my mouth long and slow then inhale it in one shot, akin to an analog. Before you know it you'll be doing the same thing, methinks.

One of the biggest drawbacks to the stick, IMO, is the light draw (depending on which atty you're using). Getting a long draw requires you have some resistance. Janty improved this somewhat with the V2, by adding some additional sealing to the bottom of the atty chamber. I also switch around on attys til I find one that has the kind of draw I like. Currently, I'm using the TW bulk buy attys, they're pretty good.
