i think one point that no one is making is...you're toying around with batteries that ARE NOT SOLD with the Prodigy. your thread could be really confusing to someone that is unfamiliar with what you're discussing, so you might want to make that clear :)

i've seen it too many times in the past, people see discussions about batteries and flip out because the are scared of things blowing up.

Well I hope that is made clear that one of the big advantages of the batteries that do come with the kit is that they never catch fire or explode. Standard Lithium batteries can't make that claim.

I'm saying not to use them.
Because i know a few people suggested using them.

DO NOT USE THE BLUE BATTERIES THAT TENERGY SELLS !!!!!!!!

Am i clear Fritz?

clear enough. i only pointed it out because earlier you questioned if "puresmoker warns people about them" or something to that effect, which really didn't make sense, because they don't come with the kit.

carry on :)

No, not the batteries.
Why should they warn about something they do not sell?

I was talking about how deep the center post on the adapters has to be inserted so as not to get a tight draw with the 801 atomizers.

You've started 15 negative threads about Puresmoker's products. How many more will we see before you are happy???

Not negative posts about puresmoker. My personal problems vaping at straight 6 volts.

It's a learning curve. Trying to avoid others from making potential mistakes that i am making or experiencing. Trying to solve battery problems...etc
It's got nothing to do with me being happy or not.
I'm vaping at 6 volts without a resistor not 3.7volts.
So it's automatically more complicated and risky than a mere 3.7 volts.

RCR are protected.

If you use them and they stop working, and you get the 0.0 the protection has kicked in, takes a bit to reset.

this means that the way your are hitting the button makes the batteries hit their max and trigger protection each time.

they will also read 0.0 when they need a charge(protection circut again to prevent them from going under min voltate)

so... they are not good for the way you and your prodigy function togather, i dont think its a bad battery but it is possible

I have never seen anyone have so many problems with a product as he has. It's almost unbelievable the number and magnitude of his claims. I received the Tenergy 900mAh Li-Ion batteries today. I charged them up and put one set it and they just worked like they are supposed to.

I bought these batteries before I fully understood the LiFePO4 technology. This new technology is superior to other standard Li-Ion batteries. I didn't know why they didn't have PCB protection circuits, they don't need the protection circuit. The chemistry of the battery takes care of the voltage management. These new LiFePO4 batteries have 4 times the life expectancy of standard Ultrafire Li-Ion batteries. They are clearly superior batteries. I now know why Puresmoker chose them to incorporate into the Prodigy kit.

You know, he does seem a bit high maintenance, but he was able to work through his problems, and i think one ended up being a battery problem, and the other ended up being a center post causing flow problems. He seems happy now, he has a ****e load of PS products. Maybe he came across wrong with this thread, but thats kinda what makes PS diff from the rest is that we worked with him, and he worked out his issues, and is actually happy now. If you wanted to tell him to shut up, you should have done that on page one, not page 5..correction page 4, soon to be page 5, come on? The initial emotion is gone by now.

And yes, DON"T USE OTHER BATTERIES OTHER THAN WHAT CAME WITH IT.

There you go.

Guys!!!!!!!
I am posting real things that really happened.
Please do not question me as a person. Or think that there is some sort of ulterior motive against PS.

This is a learning curve for me. I will post whatever problem arises and expect help from you guys. So please a little courtesy to other members. (no matter how complex the issue).
Had i not loved the prodigy from day one, it would already be in the garbage along with other devices, and i would have not made any further attempts at fixing these problems.

One of the blue batteries was tripping. They are gone.
The center brass post was provoking a tight draw on the BE112, and a light draw on other models of 801.

That too was fixed on both sticks.

It just took me 1.5 days of fiddling around to get to to these conclusions.
Now all is working fine.

Thanks

Wouldn't he have to want to return everything for a refund?

Gary
I think someone else posted this before me.
Your posts are always short (that's a good thing).
But you are not a very helping person to others. Always have something negative/bitter to say.

I'm sure you would have asked for a refund. Maybe that is the sort of person you are?
You can think these things but not write them about me. Because it is your distorted mind that is thinking them.

To answer your question i would never ask for a refund because :

1. I risked using different batteries.
2. I use atty's that PS does not sell.
3. I vape at 6 volts which is a known risk.

PS are not to blame and you guys have to get it out of your minds that It is in my best interest to blackmouth them ???

Why? to whose profit?

Ok let me spell this out for you - I was taking your side. Now, not so sure. :nah:
