2) watched #2, never saw #3..... The only thing I liked about #2 was the horse... And it died! (luckily the happy ending brought it back, but still )

The "room for one more" was a Twilight Zone episode. I don't remember the whole story line on that one, but a lady was going to board a (doomed) plane, and the stewardess kept inviting her to board, saying, "There's room for one more" and the woman freaked because of previous visions (or something - see? I don't remember it well), and DIDN'T get on the plane, and it crashed and exploded right after take-off.

To answer your off-topic questions:

1) Let's see, 1984 was 31 years ago, so I was 26 when it came out. I probably saw it the first time when I was 28 or 29. We rented it from the video store.

2) I never even HEARD there were sequels! Now I need to go check that out.

3) Labyrinth is another one of our favorite movies.
