That last one that I was in wasn't a random.org pick. I think it might've been merit-based, and I do way better on those, as I'm usually pretty much like this guy:

Ahmmm.........you have a signed release to use pics of me?

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Never won anything worth having in any contest I've entered. Have gotten a few interestingly worthless consolation prizes:facepalm:

15000 fake accounts made by ECF members?
What a lack of integrity.
Same mentality as a petty thief.
Disgusting.

These members are banned now right?

Or are they still here ready to defraud vendors and members?

Who says they were ECF members? The contest was open to all vapers from across the world.

Wonder how they figured accounts were spam accounts....
Hope they didn't erase mine by accident :p
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.
Easy way is a person's IP address, no matter how many emails I set up from my home computer they all come from the same IP address.
A device (smartphone, laptop, tablet) ID No. don't change either no matter how many different WiFi's a person can find.

Now there are companies that you can hire to send emails out (spam) and they will use different IP address's.
These companies don't have unlimited IP addresses and all their IP's will eventually be added to the spam list.
Easiest way to catch them is to hire them to send you emails, then block all the IP address once they sent them

The physical location of a IP address is another way to catch them. You can track on a map the exact house or building an IP address is at.
So if a person or business sets up 100's of different IP's, but they all are coming from the same house or building it's a safe bet they are sending spam.
This is also how your email provider separates or spots spam emails that were sent to you.
I am sure with today's technology there are some other ways of catching them too.

And for some reason the place where you live or work has to have different IP address like a business, college dorm, apartment building, etc,
you can contact who ever thinks your spam or cheating in a contest or an online game and explain your situation to them. :)

There's a thought!! @innokin _Ash how bout a Disruptor mini like maybe a 25 watt version for the tootle puffers who know they will never use 50 watts!! And I will only ask for one as payment for my idea lol .

Hard to determine this, some were selected by the staff while other drawings went random.

In the specific quick draw that kenneth and I won (the final one) Ash said they were hand picking the winners rather than using random.org for that quick draw.

IP addresses can be hidden...when in comes to spamming, phishing and general maleficent activities, they are 3 steps ahead.

May have likely knocked myself out. Bummer.

Did not see any link to rules.
Entered myself through my email for ECF
Wife entered through my Microsoft windows 8 account
:(

Oh well, Happy for everyone else and she is pretty much off the stinkies with what I could set up for her.

Remember - We Are ALL Winners!!!

Much appreciation to ECF Staff and Innokin for everything they have Done/Do for the community!! :thumb:
I don't think they are looking for a person that's IP address was used 3 or 4 times, they understand that everyone that lives together has the same IP address.
But when 5000 are sent out from the same address this just might be a red flag that maybe that person don't have that many wives and kids

There's some people in prison right now that thought that same way and downloaded some stuff they shouldn't have

I will say this...That the administrators here on ECF really have a good grip on malicious activity for sure! I would not be surprised they know what color my great room walls are!

Well - While "We" wait to see who WON an InnokinDisrupter/Cell today a bit of trivia . . .

Just As An FYI:

Go to "Your" Listings of Threads, specifically this one . . . Look to the right where it says "Replies" and hover over the number then right click to open in a New Window . . .

It is a list of everyone that posted in this Thread and how many times they actually posted too . . .

NOW - Before Ya' Look, a question . . .

Out of approximately 451 people that posted in this thread, take a guess at Who Posted the most ? ? ?

And even though some used bold or colored text and bullets and emotions the suggestions were still very similar!! We can all agree on one thing we are very lucky and we all love our Disruptors
