Huge Giveaway! Innokin launch their DISRUPTER Device on ECF - 400 To Win

You should understand that I was commenting on the integrity of people trying to scam Innokin and ECF.





I was referring to this exact quote:


"Just got word back from the ECF TEAM."

Which implies ECF team discovered the spam accounts.

So either
1. Someone misspoke and I'm mistaken based on the semantics of the text.

2. ECF has more access to the entry data than Innokin ( which is fine)

3. The scammers were discovered due to their ECF account information.


My first guess would be the simplest and most logical, thus, the question about pulling the trigger.

Hi, ECF setup the giveaway on upviral, and has sole access to it and all of the pertinent information. The spam accounts that were detected were simply email address, and names such as: XCJFSC@somerandomserver.com with a name like XCJFSC SSDJFF. Spam accounts like these lower the chance for real entrants grately unfortunately.

@Uncle: I just got word back from the ECF team. There were 45000 entrants in total, but ECF estimated 15000 were spam accounts from a handful of users trying to win - so they removed those before picking the winners

Not as many entries as I thought there would be, but way more fraudulent ones than I figured.

It's not hard to see from the back end.

I think ECF does a better job at eliminating spammer/trolls than any forum I have ever been involved with. I am very impressed with their back-end security efforts and I appreciate it very much. I love how safe I feel here.

No offense meant and was not a generalization LOL. I love my wife , she just has her quirks, we both started Vaping afew years ago and she has never taken to it never made it even a full fast without a cigarette and never even used her device more than 2 days in a row. So because of that she don't understand Vaping at all. And even though I spend less than half of watt I was spending on cigarettes she questions any money i spend at all!! So if i buy one she will see right thru the plan from the go LOL .

That's funny. My husband vaped for about a month before he went back to the stinkies. He said it is too hard to vape and drive a semi, lol. My son vaped for about 3 months but ended up going back to cigarettes, but I believe that is because I PIF'd him some of my gear and it was just too advanced for him. I am going to have to grab them both some cigalikes and some tobacco juice to get them back on track, methinks.
