Mods have been getting more durable and a few are slightly water resistant. I'm expecting to see something that is truly waterproof - both mod and tank.

Well - That can only be achieved if the "Tank" doesn't leak all the time . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I'd say a great new innovation would be a perfect tank with flavor like a dripper no leaking actual easy working top fill able to access deck without draining a connector that actually works on all mods I think we need to fix that stuff first as much as I love vaping it's so much more involved than smoking give us a plug n play type tank fill and forget jmho

Greetings everyone!

Time for another quick draw.

We'll be giving away another 10 ECF branded Disrupter + InnoCell combos, in the colours of your choosing.

And if anyone has seen that portable cooking device on the infomercials the nuwave oven why can't the industry use a heating element like that to me it's perfect for vaping heats up instantly to the temp you want and is cool to the touch as soon as you stop pressing the button way better than coils or ceramic and I bet it would work

Since I been using sub ohm tanks, knock on wood, I haven't had any problems with leaking tanks.
It's been around 8 months since I started using them.
So I personally think tanks have come a long way.

If you haven't tried a sub ohm tank check out the Innokin iSub tank.
Now I don't just say that because this is a Innokin thread  but for the price and what you get for the price.

If you never priced any, well some of these tanks can cost $50 and up.

I have seen the colored iSub tanks sale for as low as $12 and the iSub G tank for $20 (G = Glass)
Now in most cases cheaper means, not as good, but this isn't one of them cases.
Another plus is the Coils are at the bottom of the price list too :)

Now I am not an expert on sub ohm tanks by any stretch of the imagination but I do have 10 sub ohm tanks, 8 different kinds, and the last 2 weeks my iSub G tank is my go to tank.
So I do think I know enough to tell people before they go spending twice as much on something else that the iSub tank is just as good if not better.

I just wanted to mention this for all you winners, and anyone else out there that might have never owned or tried a sub ohm tank and are now in the market for one. :)

It uses infrared and convection as 2 of the 3 heat sources, neither would fire liquid. Infrared is a light source, convection is heated air.

Oh ok but definitely a type if technology to look into gotta be a way to come up with something similar
Well let's see....How about a device like a Glade plug in air freshener...bottle full of juice plugs into the wall socket but with a hookah tube in 35' length!

Lmao hey the whole point is to think outside the box right personally if they could just come up with a perfect tank I'd be happy just throwing out an idea
You are certainly welcome to use the Glade plugin idea!.....That is pretty outside the box if I may so so!

My first two 510 threaded tanks not the 1.6ml clearomizers that went on top of one brand's cig alikes but DCT tanks the second with a lock ring washer to prevent leaks both leaked like sives! Finally the cartimizer in each died off one from simply sitting around for a year and no gong back there! Yet that other brand did have better tanks come out later. Once into vaping for over a year having started to upgrade from small to larger and the MVP 2.0 came along I was also looking at tanks again to replace all those CE2 Dry Burn Wick 1.6ml wonders once and for all. But I had to try some tanks that didn't go so well. The recent ISub however stands out for Innokin there among the many sub ohms you can find at this time!

I didn't get hyped over the MVP 3.0 30w just having grabbed the MVP 20w with the other coming out a wee bit too late. That was a disappointment in a sense since the 30w model supports the new sub ohm tanks! The 3.0 Pro however was the right ticket for the moment when wondering if I should or shouldn't simply grab another iStick 50w and then see the pre-order deal mentioned by one source only a couple of weeks before it came in early at one vendor's site. It wasn't rocket science from there! :D

How is it against the Atlantis? I absolutely adore my Atlantis tanks (no leak and no dry hits, EVER!!) but I have been seeing a lot lately about the iSub G. I am definitely interested in hearing more about it!

Well that's an easy mistake to make but easy to fix by simply adding Pro on the end! :w00t: Last fall however when everyone was pondering over and ended up complaining about the just then new 20w iStick soon to see a 10w Mini I had spotted the MVP 20W and grabbed that up to replace the 6-11w 2.0 which I still haven't yet even by the way. If I had know the 30w was coming out just a couple of weeks later I would have that now instead of the 20w while I still would have jumped on the Pro without question as I did despite having just gone for the third 50Watter by the other guys.

The Disrupter however is in a different ball park being that it is 18650 powered with the option to replace the battery without fuss. The temp control tossed in will make that a good buy for the more adventurous. The one question now is whether it will take both Flap Top and Button Top batteries or simply one or the other like the VTR only took Flat Tops. High Drain or Regular Please?! Whether I win one or end up ordering one sometime later that would be good to know since I mostly use High Drain Flat Top batteries for both the hgiher wattage APVs as well as some other box mods.

Funny how when people start vaping they start looking at things different :?:
Like now pretty much everything I see, I think to myself how I can use that or add that to my vape gear
I think that is pretty much how everything in vaping came to be.
Take the Genesis tank,

I always wondered if they got the idea for that tank from a Zippo Lighter

or maybe an old kerosene lamp

Before Aspire released the 5ml replacement tanks the first was the Kragen where you had to fill or drain the tank from the top using a small phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws. Had to drain tank entirely through them as well in order to simply change a coil! The Wotofo followed but was twist on like the Aspire replacemen and as long as you snugged the tank section on correctly you don't see leaks. These other sub ohm tanks as well as other polycarbonate BCC, BDC, BVC, etc. are now pretty the same as far as seeing a pressure seal form when threaded on properly while a number of the older CE2-4 headaches could be a real pain if not kept in an upright position! Those would leak all over!
