Thanks sweetie! Its worth a lot to me believe it or not. Too often people today look for disposable instead of dependable and it makes me crazy. And when it comes to my husband's rough and tumble job durability is a must!!
I agree, I don't think I'd have thought about vaping devices being as durable when I worked, but now being retired and oft times out on our quad following a new trail found in the desert, seeing where it'll go, traversing hills and up and down, washes with bumps in the tracks from 4-wheel drive jeeps and side-by-sides (ie ROUGH trails), it's something I think about NOW! and wish things were more durable, too!
I know about folks today and their thoughts cuz I was recently looking on ECF for someone with soldering abilities and knowledge of ego twist bats - I needed a couple fixes on batteries that had never worked since I bought them - to then pass on to someone in need of a backup or the like - and all I got was 'trash it, buy another one' 'they're cheap', 'would cost you too much to have fixed', etc. I felt there was still life in them and they weren't cheap in my eyes ($25-30 each plus shipping costs?) - but haven't found a fix it person yet who was willing to do the job (for less than $50/hr with no guarantees of a good job accomplished on them)... so I keep looking and listening (grin)... I know there must be some out there somewhere! haha
