I just watched the video.....is this risk only to the batteries that are removable or all batteries? I know there are mods that are regulated and unregulated and while i havent looked up the difference just yet..i kinda assumed that regulated means made in a factory with regulations..and the other ones are just one people make at home? I guess my main question is do i have to worry about this with any and every apv?

NO ...Has nothing to do with regulations of a manufacturer or government.....A regulated mod will keep your voltage the same from fully charged until the battery is drained. With an unregulated mod the voltage will gradually drop as you vape. It'll start out around 4.2 volts and keep getting lower. Also regulated mods will generally have a few protection features in the event the battery is over stressed...so to speak.

Regulated means it has electronic protection I.E a chip, short protection ten second hit, and so on. Unregulated are mechanical mods no protection. Regulated mods from trusted companies like Innokin and such don't use those batteries they use quality batteries!!! Those batteries are fakes sold one like eBay and amazon

Have you ever noticed that Innokin products are not easy to clone. IMO
It's not that they are hard to clone.....innokin prices right, so why clone something you would have to sell for close to the same price as the authentic.... Who would buy it? :p

I kind of look at it this way...If you are old enough to know that licking your finger and place it in a electrical socket is not a good thing, go ahead and get a mechanical (unregulated) mod. If not old enough to know, get a regulated mod.

Having the tears or chips in your battery wrap can be dangerous.

Wrapping cost around $0.15 a battery or like on a Amazon search for 18650 Battery Heat Shrink, you can get a 10 meter (33ft) roll of 29.5 mm heat shrink tubing for under $6.
If you Google search for rewrapping 18650 batteries you can find a video on how to do it. All you need is something to cut the wrap off and a cig lighter or heat gun.
I seen some Vape Shops are doing it too for a few dollars if you don't want to mess with it.

THANKS - for the information . . .
