It's starting to pick up here, getting gusty. Bridges are getting shut down now. For anyone unfamiliar with Jax, you don't go very far without crossing a bridge. Here we go

Getting some reports from St Augustine, waves are breaking over the sea wall and A1A, the main drag, is under 1-2 ft of water. Hope @smacuser is high and dry.

@Rossum are you in contact with any neighbors? Hoping it is just a power issue with your webcam.

Wind has picked up quite a bit here and it keeps raining. As @B2L said bridges are now closed. Pretty nasty. But Clay county is far enough away from the beaches that we're getting more of a severe tropical storm effect which we get often.

The worst of it is a hour or so away. Hang tight everybody.

Wind is whipping pretty good here now and it's pouring sideways. Power has flickered a few times but other than that we haven't had any issues. Just sitting tight and waiting.

It's pretty ugly in Jax right now, like a pretty severe nor'easter. We're supposed to get our worst starting about noon. I'll update as able.
