Hi Di. It's been a while since I posted here. Wanted you to know that I've had good luck using EM's standard 801 attys at 6 volts. I always follow your "keep it wet" advice. I'm constantly dripping, but haven't killed one yet.
I see EM now has HV attys for 6V use. I have several 6V devices and they have become my favorites. But I've found that standard 801 atomizers can give the liquid a somewhat harsh taste, and the vapor doesn't seem as flavorful at higher voltages. I willingly put up with that because I love the powerful and consistant throat hit.
Here are my questions:
1. Do the new HV attys (specifically the EM8-HV) mellow out the flavor? The description on the EM website says they "produce excellent vapor without boiling" the liquid. I'm guessing it's the boiling that causes the harsher taste. It would be great to taste more of the flavor in my favorite Red Bull juice.
2. I don't see any reviews yet on the HV attys. Have you tried them yet? Has anyone tried them yet? I would like to get some feedback before I stock up in a big way.
3. Are cartomizers suitable for 6V use, and are they available in the 801 style/size?
4. I can't seem to find cartomizers at the EM website. I see all kinds of atomizers, but no cartomizers. Could you provide a link? I'd love to order a few in the 801 style/size. If I understand correctly, they hold a LOT more liquid than directly dripping into an atomizer. That would be great because all that messing around gets old sometimes, especially when driving.
5. I'm also curious about the new Obsession PV. There's plenty of info on the new Indulgence, and I'm so glad you guys are finally selling a high voltage device. What can you tell me about the Obsession? What is it, and when will it be available? Details and photos would be appreciated.
Thanks Di, or anyone else out there who can answer my questions. I'll check back later for info, and will place an order soon.
