I've only recently gotten into HV devices, having found 3.7V too weak for my liking. The problem is now that I don't like the blast of hot air I get from 5V and 6V mods.

Do certain atomizers provide a cooler vape? I've tried JOYE 510s and an RN4072 so far and found them too hot. I did use a knock-off 510 and the temperature was good but it had one of those washers and thus wasn't great for dripping.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a search for a higher resistance atomizer, to defeat the incredibly high voltage.

I like staying around 3.7, though I really wish that they were 4volt batteries.

Raising the voltage by a mere little 0.5 volts causes a drastic increase in the energy emitted by the atom., so 3.7 + 0.5 = 4.2 and that would be ideal for me.

ok in order of increasing resistance and the wattage (heat) at 6V

joye 510........... (2.3Ω)..............15.65W
808 cartomizer... (3.0Ω)..............12.00W
slb 510 .............(3.2Ω)..............11.25W
801 ..................(3.5Ω).............10.29W
901 ..................(3.7Ω)..............9.73W
4.5Ω HV atty.............................8.00W
5.2Ω HV atty.............................6.92W

when most people refer to that "sweet spot" what they're talking about is vaping in the 8-10W range..so there's really a # of atties you can pick from...and you can really varry how much heat you're getting off the atty
