Hybrid Atty Question

I'm going to PM Rob and ask him his personal advice, but I also thought I'd throw the question/plea for help out to my fellow Reonauts.
So, before I saw the post and experience regarding the issues with the BF Hybrid attys on the Reo I had purchased a NON BF Hybrid Atty (the regular kind as the BF were sold out). So today, my regular hybrid came in the mail. The threaded end looks like any other 510 atomizer (nothing sticking out).
Would I be safe to use this? I do not own another PV other than a REO.

I don't have one, so I don't really know the answer, but I'm positive that the if the center post on it is sticking out at all, that is cause for concern. Otherwise...should be okay.

I think that the regular one is OK. It is the weird bottom on the so-called "Bottom Feeder" model, which is actually built as a proprietary atomizer for the V mod, that has caused the problems.
