I did read about these hybrid attys, saw where the bottom feeder one was designed for a particular bottom feeding mod. The non bottom feeding ones work on all other bottom feeding mods, REO included.

I purchased the regular, non feeding LR atty and it works fine on the REO. The center pin doesn't stick out of the threaded end, it's flush. However, I didn't like them because they are harsh, no matter how much juice I plunge in it, it is still harsh, and it's flooded with juice.

Just because it states "bottom feed atty" doesn't mean it's meant for all bottom feeding devices. Until this issue is resolved with the hybrids, I would advise one NOT to use this particular one on the your REO. If you want to try one, order the regular or non bottom feeding ones, they will work on your REO.

I think it's confusing to folks, it states "bottom feeding" but again, that is for a particular mod. It was made clear on the thread, along with the fact that the "non bottom feeders" do work on all the other bottom feeders, but most people didn't see that.

The center pin on this atomizer protrudes more then a standard atomizer even after pushing the pin in as far as I could. My mods are built to run standard atomizers I have a slot cut in the center pin air flow is not & issue with any of my mods .If you put this atomizer on a reo and bottom it out you will break the gasket .My advice is don't use it on my mods. If you do choose to chance it don't over tighten the atty just snug it on .I have tried the atty I don't see what all the hype is about. If more air flow is what you want run a 901 and save yourself some money and hassle

I have been using 3 of the BF attys for over a week now with no problems on my mini & grand and no adjustments to the center pin. I was waiting delivery of the Vmod and didn't want to make any adjustments that would affect it's performance. They were designed to screw into a feed chamber so are different from other attys.

They do not need to be screwed in all the way, nor do I think you can do so on other mods. However on the Vmod, they do thread down all the way. Before this atty came out, I was using a short/stealth adapter for my 801 minis, so am very mindful of not over tightening. I screw the atty in until I have contact and then at MOST 1/8 turn more. My atty does not wobble and fires beautifully.

So sorry to hear people have fried their reos. This atty is da BOMB for me and I have not touched my others in the past week.

I do not have one to look at, but they will not feed. You could drip, but what would be the point? I imagine someone will be modding them soon.

Are you sure they won't feed? It should have a feeding hole just like other attys, and the picture has an air hole as well.

Okay so REGULAR hybrid attys should work just fine on Reos then with no problems. Correct?

The problem is the NAMING of the BF hybrid attys. Vapage must've named them that way for their V-MOD specifically, and forgotten there are other bottom feeders out there that don't fit.

So essentially both types of hybrid attys are capable bottom-feeding. But one is intended for use only on the V-mod.

That's my understanding, but I don't own any of these attys nor a V-mod, so I'm relying on what other posters have volunteered. I think the "Bottom Feeder Hybrid" marketing has led to a lot of confusion.
