I just recieved mine, took 3 days from venerable vaping. Works like a charm! Put a 3/4 wrap of twisted 32ga kanthal on some triple folded 2mm silica, right around 1.2ohms and I have an 18350 in it. Great vapor production. Its very light. Made out of aluminum so that was expected but its featherweight even with the battery. Built solid, switch works good everytime and haven't had any leaks. The pos and neg posts are backwards though. Positive is in the middle as always, but the neg is on the left side instead of the right. The factory drip tip is a little long, and it seems to pull the cap off a little when you hit it because of the leverage it has on the cap. Other than that, its a greta buy!

Thanks for the write-up! I'm still waiting on mine to ship from vaportekusa.....
From your description, it sounds like you could make a U-wick? Is that possible?
I've never tried to do one of those.

In fact I'm pretty new to genesis-style devices
all together. I only got my RSST working good about a week or so ago.
Trial and error....

U-wicks are pretty much out of the question, the question because the fill holeI smaller than the wick hole. I use a piece of 2mm silica folded over a little bit, then I use the tail and fold it back over. So the wick kinda makes an s but one side of it is longer running down into the tank. It helps plug the wick hole and the air hole on the other side allows it to wick pretty well, no dry hits yet even with a fresh charged battery

Got mine yesterday, I'm loving it so far. It hits hard, it's lightweight, and small. The only thing I've done to it so far is drill the airhole out to 1/16. I hate the driptip it came with but that's really no big deal. IMG_0006.jpgIMG_0010.jpgIMG_0008.jpg

Aright guys I need help. I had silica in the hybrid, a 3/4 wrap of twisted 32ga around a tripled over piece of 2mm silica. Right around 1.2ohms. So I got some mesh, and did the same thing. Rolled it until it was tight in the wick hole, and used twisted 32ga with a 3/4 wrap. Unoxidized. I set everything up and its wicking great but the hits are only half as good as it was with silica and there's a metallic taste. So I take one wrap off. Still the same vapor production and metallic taste. What am I doing wrong? Im not that experienced with mesh because I can never get it to work.
