Much like ecowool or silica they can have bad effects when dry burned but what about Nomex or kevlar?
Nomex and Kevlar state only if burned will it release MCA2 but didn't answer me on the subject of being soaked and heated, Nomex/kevlar are very absorbent and flame ......ant, process to make is odor and taste free if done to specs. not cheap but some are if used in small areas as in wikes for rda's.

Hydrospace fabrics looks like the ticket but cannot find anywhere so wondering if anyone else has any luck....

it is a regular fabric and will not hold up to high heat applications.
to be clear hydrospace is the manufacturing process, "it adds pockets" to the material being woven. not the product. someone would have to use the process for cotton or silica in a size and form for us to use.

think of the BASF commercials "we dont make the product we make the product better".
