I converted a lady I work with a week or so ago, she now has a DSE901 from smokester just like me! Shame she didn't read the forums tho or the big instructions card Smokester gives out, shes quite happy having her cart woolies firmly stuck to the atomizer and then turning erm round many times until its dry hehe guess she didn't notice the burning taste but shes enjoying it and I made sure she knew the atomizer does not last forever!!

So just kinda getting familiar with the boards and everyone hanging out here (waves) - and was curious as to if anyone has made any kind of informational card, say credit card sized or so, outlining all the basics of e-cigarettes? I know there are many shop owners on the list and would be easy to put something together. Even have some websites that would give more info (like the one for forums?)

Something people could hand out for times they were in a hurry and had no time for a demo? Would be cheap and easy enough to do. It would be easy enough to throw something like that together. Any thoughts on this? Would also help when confronted in a public area or where someone is being super negative. Just a thought.

Checked the Njoy site...couldn't find the cards to order. Would you have a pic of one by chance? Also - if you made a card, what sites would you include? Say top 5? Plus this forum of course ;)

I am not as familiar with the companies as of yet, but I have plenty of time and a wee bit of spare cash that I could put to a use such as this.

Oh no - just simple information printed out on the printer and given out for free to others with like minds. Granted I may just ship a few out free of charge to a few or share the file of the design (perhaps post to site somewhere) so they could make their own copies.

The government no longer lets me work, so I enjoy finding constructive ways to spend my time. LOL Gets dull cleaning house all day. :) It gets interesting when you are not allowed to actually make money that can be claimed. Besides, if I do it for myself, why not share especially if I come up with something really good! LOL

Go for it Ned, CMorgan! Ned can do a UK version, and CMorgan can do a US version. Bullet points about the basics of e-cigs on one side (Why smoking laws don;t apply, why it's healthiER than real cigs, other advantages like flavors, no smell or ash, etc). And the web addresses of the forum and a few reccomended local sellers (both brands and generics) on the other. Share with forum members in your region.

Why should businesses be the only ones with cards? :D

Talk about providing ink ammunition to use against us!

Make no claims. You have NO proof of anything. Don't rush the crisis. See the posts about current UK problems. It's only just beginning ... Talk one-on-one if you like. Print nothing.

That's the beauty of not selling anything, Bob. MY claims aren't part of the debate, they're meaningless as far as any of that is concerned. I'm just a consumer sharing info.

And while it's not a scientific standard, common sense tells us NOT having over 40 known carcinogens is healthiER than having them.

This is a clear harm reduction situation, and I explain it to others that way.

True there - one of the things I am usually pretty good at is getting close enough to the line without crossing it. I agree that having thousands of hazardous chemicals missing is definitely worth the decision to change and yes, by common sense is healthier.

I picked up another of the cheaper units out of China just to see how it would do, and actually very impressed, works great thus far and smokes better than the other mini I have (due to it is larger) - though in their booklet, they have that the system is recommended by the WHO. LOL Guess they haven't seen the current headlines.

Still working hard on getting the house together and getting things done for the trip to Italy coming up - so it may take a bit to get the info card tweaked just the way I want it. Will let you all know when it is up - though hoping to have some to take along with!

Very true, Leaford. And last I checked, we still had personal freedom of speech, as long as it's not libelous or dangerous. YOU can say what you please. YOU won't be called before the FTC. But a supplier best keep mouth zipped on claims that aren't backed by trials. "Common sense" takes a back seat when we're advocating using a heavily addictive drug provided in dangerous containers with improper labelling.

And Made in China.
