You would not be able to use the 18650's with the kick in the 3.7/6 Saber, you would have to use 18490/500's with the kick installed. But you can always take it right out and use it with the 18650's when longer battery life is desired.
And You would be correct, just drop in the kick, drop in the battery, and your good to go, simple:thumbs: Now as far as if it keeps it's power, yes. I have only noticed(on EVERY mod, not only Sabers) that when the battery drops to low, you get this hit, fire, hit, fire as your touching the sensor(or pushing a button). But again, this is right before the battery dies only. :)

Actually, right out of the kick manual :) I wondered WTH was going on when it first happened - thought the kick was malfuntioning!! The other mistake I made was NOT to use IMR batteries - when will I ever learn to RTFM :D

Well, Im happy and Im sad, Riddick is worse than we thought, he will have to be rebuilt. But on the other hand, he will now return "kicked" I cant wait to try him out. Now to recap, now that he will be kicked, it will run at the voltage I choose, and it wont go down in power till battery just goes out, right? I can set it at 4.0 and it will run steady at that or should I just leave it at 3.7 , which what I remember is what it actually runs at when fresh off a charge? I think this is what I remember , if Im wrong let me know.

To assure any other people out there, the Saber Touch is one rugged MOD. What happened to me was a freak accident, one of those 1 in a million things that if planned would have been hard to replicate. I tried it at home and well, dont try it at home. If travelling with your Saber or doing anything where it might take a dive, take the atty or carto or any attached item off, just to be safe.

The Kick run's on wattage, rather than voltage. It basically adjust battery power to the ohm atty or carto you put on it to achieve desired heat. I just used an ohms calculator online as my starting point. You just type in your desired voltage and the ohm of atty or carto you have been using, and it will give you the wattage to set it at. Once you set it, your good till your battery dies:)

Thanks, so to sum it up, I set it up to lets say 4.0 and then set the ohm of my carto at the moment of 2.0 and the battery then stays at a constant 4.0. Then if I use an atty that is 1.8 I then set the ohm at 1.8 etc. Do I set it at the batteries actual voltage such as 3.7 or at the strength of the battery off the charger. I cant wait to experience it. Oh, and does it matter if I use the protected or high drain batteries?

Ok, if your sweet spot is 4.0volts with a 2.0ohm atty or carto, then you would set your kick dial to 8(watts). After that, lets say you put a 1.8 atty on your device, the kick will adjust the voltage so that you still get the same heat that you were getting with the 2.0. No need to adjust when you find your desired heat, any atty you put the device will be the same exact heat!!

I was checking out the Vapor Moon site studying up on the "kicked" version. Im so silly, I just assumed that it meant it would have the Kick already installed, Im glad I read the details. I bought a kick over at Super-T so I will now be ready to pop it in when Riddick V2.0 gets here.
So when it gets here I place the kick module on top of battery, but I want to clarify, the little magnet goes between top of battey a under the Kick?

I also got Riddick some new gear, some Kir Fanis tanks, and some new Ahlusion Devil Dog and Burley tobacco.

What is this Kir Fanis tanks you speak of, details, link, help please:D

Yes, I don't carry the Kick device at this time. But, I couldn't include a $47 piece for that price!

Hey Guys... How would you all like me to come out with a Saber Touch Midi? (sized between the Mini and the 3.7v/6v Saber). It would take a 18500 3.7v battery, which would give you a lot longer battery life than the Mini. Also, it will include the battery extender so that you could use it with the Kick and a IMR 18350 3.7v battery. Sound like something you all may like? So, for that people with small hands, that don't like full size mods, but they would like to use the Kick, this would fit really nicely!
