My other option is become a Smoking Everywhere distributor. They are at all the malls. They charge $150.00 for their kits, talk about MARKUP. Did you know if you buy 500 kits from them you get them for $30.00 a piece. If I order from Ruyan direct, he quoted me 2150, shipping included for 100.

2150 / 100 = $21.50 -ruyandirect.com
15,000 / 500 = 30.00 -smokingeverywhere.com

I don't want to betray my 901's, I heard smokingeverywheres e-cigs suck. But if it is 100% guranteed. Sounds like maybe I should just bite the bullet and order from smokingevery.com.

Opinions anyone?

I'm going to be perfectly honest and blunt here. You're planning to go into business as a supplier, but you're asking questions like a total newbie. A good supplier knows his product, won't ask product information from a public forum, and definitely wouldn't discuss markups. How can you trust information form people with unknown backgrounds.

Now you say that you heard a product "sucks" but you're planning on selling it anyway? Will *I* place an order? I think not.

Just my opinion.

Next question is, does anyone know if a ban is comming up? If I do place this order and get it, it won't do me much good if it is illegal to sell them.

(

I tend to think even if they ban these- selling them wont be a problem. A ban will make people curious-er. You might be selling them on the down low, but I really don't think people will stop. I know I wont. We will need parts eventually, if they are banned, you will have gold. :D
Hurry up and do this- we need more people supporting us- to circumvent a ban or have a larger army if they try it.
)

Hi Jim,

I can tell you arn't going to like me very much.

Most people, say things like, I will start my own business.

Guess what? They never do it. I do!!!

I already have 10 buyers, thats 10% of my supplies.

When I said smoking everywhere sucks, I meant literally you have to suck harder, other then that, and their price sucks.

I wasn't going to sell online, and I wasn't going to sell to you.

Am I a newb, yes, am I going to start selling these, yes.

Thank you

I don't see anyone on this forum being my competition, except if their is a supplier in Napa Valley?

If not, yes, I discuss markups. Even though, I already know what I am going to sell them for. if anyone wants to know, just pm me. I don't share my information with competitors, but, like stated, you arn't my competition if you don't live near me.

zeebest001,

This issue isnt a ban, technically the FDA has already called for that.

The question is if the FDA is correct in saying it has the right to regulate e-cigs.

If they win this court case, not only will supply be much harder to get, e-cigs will be a new and unapproved medical device.

Selling or advertising an unapproved medical device or medicine is a crime.

I am not trying to dissuade you from entering the e-cig biz. Just please, before you put down 2k, 10k or 50k make sure you have all the facts.

Side note: Smoking Everyone overcharges for a low quality product. Moreover, they have dwindling supply. I would suggest against being part of them.

Fact is there is plenty of room for everybody...However now is not the ideal time to start shipping ecigs...Take it from someone who has lost about 5000 in customs and FDA to date...Im not trying to discourage you from selling them , Im just being honest and stating the obvious...There are ways to import things that are minimal risk...small shipments...you are better off, having them shipped 25 at a time and paying a little more for shipping and not making as much on the bottom line but not risking as much either...
DONT mis label because then you definatley loose the goods...They will not give you the option to return them and could possibly prosecute..best case they destroy your product..if you need additional help or questions answered PM me...Good Luck

As far as I know, Ruyan is not the same as Ruyandirect. Ruyan is a factory and Ruyandirect is another reseller/distributor of several factories. The DSE series are not from Ruyan factory for example.
You're apparently right about that, I was thinking about Ruyan America, they direct you to distributors that are very pricey indeed, was just wondering. They are in Minnesota but do have a few distributors they list.

Ok, so let me get this straight, I am going to order 100 e901s

I am going to ask for 2 /3 shipments

1 shipment will have all atomizers, and I should have them label it as? Atomizers?

2nd shipment of batteries, and have them label it batteries?

Sounds like to me, I will get the batteries for sure! I guess I could always sell just battiers, lol.

Seriously though, two shipments, 1 atomizers, 1 batteries.

Sounds good to you guys?

with customs, one never knows. There's one vendor that had problems getting a shipment of batteries in.

If you read the entry denials in OASIS database, you see all sorts of things that make zero sense, such as rubbing alcohol being denied on grounds of being a new, unapproved, drug.

I knew I shouldn't have ordered that rubbing alcohol from china, damn...
