Congrats! Don't forget to tell her to vary the ejuice she uses and to drink lots of water. I wasn't told that and got vapor's tongue within the first month lol Once I learned how to prevent it I've had no problems.

Vapors tongue? I did tell her to drink lots of water and she did buy a variety of juices. I've never heard of vapors tongue, care to enlighten me? I have pretty much stayed with the same juice because I'm not real fond of a lot of them. Ok for a little bit but I seem to go back to the first one. I should get more samples to try tomorrow... vape mail is great!

My SIL and close friend died 2 years ago from smoking-induced COPD. She just could NOT quit smoking. I keep thinking, if only she had found ecigs, she might still be alive......might also have prevented lung cancer/surgery/chemo/radiation for my husband and his brother and the deaths of several other people I know....I consider vaping/ecigs a near-miracle!

If you use the same ejuice all the time you can get vapor's tongue where all juice tastes like they have no flavor. It's well documented on ECF and really sucks. When I got it I assaulted it with red hots, sour candy, Biotene mouthwash and washing my tongue roughly 4 times a day. I was also not drinking enough water at the time but have resolved that as well.

Thanks to you all, I do love this place! All of my questions have been answered (I'm sure there will be more) and there are so many wonderful people here. I did join CASAA and even emailed several board members in Florida hoping to make a difference. My brother is my next target. LOL

Just wanted to update here..

I saw my SIL Sunday before she left to go out of town for the week so I was wondering how she was doing. I sent her a text and she still is smoke free!!! YAY! She is determined to do this and I couldn't be happier. I will see her Friday when she gets back to see if maybe we need to up the nic a bit. She doesn't like to text so I'm not going to question her now. She did say it was hard at times, still wanted one but wasn't going to do it. She has a doctor's appointment on Monday and I think her doctor is going to be shocked!

As for me, I am heading towards 4 weeks. I think it's time to curb my purchases for a month or two. LOL I now have my Kanger EVOD I started with, MVP2, 3-protank 2's and an iclear 30. I think that should do me until..
