and then share with us who it is!

Have you tried IntellicigUK ? they have a model M401 called the EVO that is very good quality. There are several other vendors under the UK suppliers' category. They also sell eliquid. from England to India should be no issue, yes?

also, there is a new company in Italy that I read about here that does eliquid, many exotic flavors.

@prof beard: Obviously yes.

@TaketheRedPill:Right, there is no issue for import-export for India and England.I personally receive different mail, parcels without any problem.Ditto for any European countries, USA, Canada. The restriction is from China (which is our concern), Pakistan (not our concern).I ordered some diecast scale model cars from italy-I have too much faith in their quality.Actually, the cost of courier/postage bothers me.May be,I will order one for mine,but if the companies want to get the market in India, they have to come here-it will reduce the cost and any person can buy it easily.I will try it:I saw the EVO model in picture:its nice.

India has no particular law against or for e-cigs at present.One can come and give advertise in my forum. I have no interest in any kind of business-because I dont have any such knowledge or intention.

@ idoesmoking,

I'm from India too. I've got two super mini type e-cigs. One from the same guy as you and the other from steamz.in Naturally, they aren't compatible and I am now adding tracking of which stuff belongs to which model to my initial learning curve.

Howz it going with you?

So, the three of us and two companies in India. I wonder what the rest of the buyers do....

Idoessmoking: I don't have advice for you but the website you linked looked like they are ok PVs, and probably good enough to get you started. Best of luck getting your gear, and hope you are vaping happily soon.

My real reason for posting is I used to smoke bidis. Interesting little smokes, a single tobacco leaf rolled up with a tiny string to hold them together, from what I recall. Can't get them now in the US, but they were strong!! A couple of drags from one would last me as long as a regular cigarette, with a serious head rush.

I used to love beedis too, but they kill my throat

Yep. Throat, lungs, future plans, the prospect of seeing your grandchildren. But they sure did pack the nic in a tiny package! I could buy them from 7-11. I don't know whether they were banned or India just stopped exporting them. They didn't taste like regular tobacco either, more like burning oak leafs. In fact, I was never convinced they were regular tobacco...maybe some other tobacco plant native to India, but different than that grown in the US.

There are many who claim beedis are healthier (I don't believe them). Apparently, the tobacco from a cigarette would be more than that in an entire pack of beedis. The throat hit makes you feel like you smoked a lot with a few puffs (and the thing keeps burning out anyway). They are cheap and you can smoke them to the very end. etc. And there are some nice smooth (uh... comparitively) brands too - the ones in smaller size and pink packaging - in India at least - I don't know what exported beedis would look like. Strange to think of beedis being exported - a packet costs about 3 ruppes which would be less than $0.10 Who in the world would spend a fortune to transport that? No wonder they stopped.

Most of this being subjective, tough to say, but cigarettes used to make my head spin after even a few days on beedis.
