So in reading the maximum time steeping forum, I realized the Electronic Cigarette has gone too far... It used to be about some crappy tasting stuff+nic when I smoked. Now it seems to be about something else... batteries... No... Bigger ones.... VV ones... Cartos.... no... buy more... clearos.... $.... Stardust.... Vivi nova.... $... DIY... single flavors... combos... EM... $$... 7 days steeping.... 10 days.... $$$.... Provari... Apple pie ala mode... Carrying cases... mods...

DONE!

I'm going to Wizards Labs and I'm going to mix up two huge bottles of base. High nic and low. Not 25 30ml bottles, not little colored stickers and bottles. 2!
Then I'm going to get 5-6 strong Capella flavors that may work well together.
Then when I want to vape, I'm going to open my Vivi 2.5, add my base
And put the drops of the flavor/combo I want at that moment into it
I will shake it...
And vape it...
Will it steep?
No!
Will it be at max flavor?
No!
But that's the way it's gonna be... Stock solution... drops, not MLS... If I want brownie I'll make some... Vanilla Custard...

The madness ends NOW! before it's too late...

You know, my hardware's been stable for about a year (KGO + 1.7 ohm single-coil in a plastic ghetto tank) and my go-to joose has been the same for nine months and I'm still not tired of it. When I found something that worked the gear whoring stopped - I'll probably ask the spousal unit for a couple of 1000 mAh eGo Twists for Christmas, though :D

I started out with an M401/402 (horrendous but I quit smoking on it) then on to a 510XL (better, but not great) to an eGo-T where I loved the battery life but hated the tank system to my current KGO - and I went through single-coil, dual coil, CE4, EMDCC and a couple others before I found something that worked consistently.

I bought a ton of flavors, made a lot of mistakes and have a pretty good spreadsheet with all my efforts rated on a 1-10 scale. About half of them are a 7 or better (some of you might remember the PB&J experiment that actually worked kinda okay) but these days I've pretty much managed to nail down what I wanted ;)

Great Post.

Reminds me of the Movie "Network"

To state the obvious, we are VAPERS, not SMOKERS! We aren’t depending on Tobacco Companies who developed products over the course of more than 100 years that will addict you to nicotine and smoking behavior and will, if used the way they are designed, KILL YOU!!
We are vapers who are sorting through an industry, which didn’t even exist 10 years ago. We look for batteries, power control devices, atomizers, cartomizers, tanks, ejuices in an attempt to continue NOT using Big Tobaccos evil poison. We are INDIVIDUALS who try to avoid the evils of smoking. Are their ups and downs? SURE!! Are there any rules on how to proceed? Nope. We all proceed by intuition in our journey. Fortunately, there are others on the same journey who share their own personal opinions, and I, for one, are GLAD there are! Does anyone give you rules on how to make your journey? I think not.
I think there are lots of people out there who have strong opinions and aren’t shy about stating them. I am thankful to them. Do they make rules determining how I can or cannot act? Not in my humble opinion. To me, the sharing on this and other forums is great and I thank you all for your caring and support.
Vape your devices in any way you wish. Your method might work very well for you , and I hope it does. It wouldn't work for me. Godspeed and stay off the obnoxious weed.

Glassman, I wouldn't say you are full of yourself! I would say that like me, by our age we know ourselves very well :) And I too am grateful for the vaping community for the advice, support and the growth of the industry!

Ral, I don't steep either...the only steeping my DIY gets is the time between start to finish of a 15ml bottle ;) I only make 15ml at a time and I'll go thru about 5ml a day.

Hell, you can try smoking clamato in there for all I care. Power to the people!

But, sounds lame. I hate the perfumy and harsh taste of new liquid...says the guy vaping Mt Dew and Watermelon Peach that he didn't let steep long enough. My banana bread (banana y Acetyl Pyrazine) didn't need steeping...but too much bread on my banana. uncool.

It's not that I don't believe in steeping, some mixes need it more than others. The flavor of my every day vape actually doesn't change much if I let it steep for a week or two so I stopped fussing with it :)

I made a pear blend recently (rarely do I try new flavors) that changed dramatically with a week's steep time. It went from urp to pleasantly vapeable after steeping.

So Calif
My mainstay these days is Capella, followed closely by Flavour Art. I use the TPA I have left for tweaking. I PIF'd all my LorAnns. Frankly it took too much of it to get what I wanted stuff to taste like (LorAnns). The other thing about LorAnns is the food coloring. No thanks.

Some of my Capella I can vape right off. Flavour Art I find needs a week to itself to develop fully. It may be my mix which is 50/50. Seems juices develop slower with more VG in the mix from my perspective. I find multi flavors need more time than singles or small doubles to fully develop. I figure I make my mainstays in 120ml bottles, I have the time to let them sit to develop if I plan ahead ;) Something new that I want to try may get vaped as soon as I'm done to see if I'm on the right track. It varies ;)

Information gained here has gotten me to where I am, so you folk keep on posting what works for you and what you prefer. I'll try some of it perhaps and then decide on my own course.

Information is a wonderful resource;)
