I-Atty randomly stopped firing

I purchased the I-Atty from fasttech (https://www.fasttech.com/products/1413900)
Out of the box it worked great, it had some wicking problems but I fixed that by popping out the mesh and tightening it a little bit. After some fiddling around I got it to fire and wick properly. The next morning it stopped working. It won't fire on any of my mods with fresh or spent batteries. What could have gone wrong?
I don't have any non resistance wire at the moment, so I am waiting for that to come in the mail before sending it back.

Did u pop the coil?

Check to see if it's burnt and broke

I dont think you need non resistance wire for this atty, just resistance wire.

either you popped the coil
or (as rare as it is) the positive post crept up and the bottom of the 510 is no longer making contact.i overtightend a DID clone way back and the center post actually pulled into the insulator on the bottom losing contact.

I tried loosening it to no avail. I may have popped the coil but when that happened is a mystery since it was working perfectly fine the night before.
dhughey, thank you, I assumed it did because it came with a spiral-shaped coil.
