I bought a Provari

A mini to be exact. In black. I'm still relatively new to vaping. Only around 2 months in, but I don't feel like a newbie. I have a lot of equipment and have experimented with a lot of things, but as far as batteries go, all I have are ego twists. I like the ego twists, but I can't help but think that I'm missing out on something.

So I started researching mods. At first the silver bullet with a kick was intriguing. It still is. But after I factored in the price of the silver bullet, the kick, and the extension piece to accommodate the kick, I'm something like $40-$50 away from the provari. Originally I was going to wait until may or june before I bought anything. I figured I better get my money's worth out of my 3 ego batteries.

But last night I had a dream. A dream that I was vaping on a provari. And for some reason it stuck with me all day. It was just on my mind. I figured, why wait? I have the money now, so what am I waiting for? I can still use my ego twists, and I likely will, especially at work.

I placed the order tonight. With the charger and two IMR batteries, it came to $214. Maybe I'll buy the silver bullet with a kick in June. You know, just for kicks.

I think you made a wise decision going with the Provari.

I already had a Silver Bullet when I decided wanted to use variable voltage. I wanted to be able to adjust voltage for the variety of flavors that I used. I thought about adding a Kick to the Silver Bullet to accomplish this, but I decided against it.

To change the voltage/power with the Kick, it's necessary to remove the battery and the Kick in order to adjust the power. The Kick is a relatively fragile processor circuit and doesn't take kindly to a lot of handling. Since I had so many different flavors that likely would require frequent adjustment of the Kick, I could see this becoming a problem.

I decided to get a Provari so that I could change the voltage on-the-fly each time I changed to a different flavor. This turned out to be the best solution for me.

If you only use one or two flavors or only one delivery device (RBA), you might not need to change the power that frequently, so a Kick might be a good option in that situation.

At the moment I'm only using two flavors as all day vapes. Occasionally on the weekend I'll switch to something else for a couple hours. So the constant adjustment isn't really a problem. In fact all 3 of my ego twists have been set at 4 volts for the past month, and I haven't adjusted any of them even once.

But anyway, I just dumped over $200 on the Provari. If a silver bullet with a kick is in my future, I think it'll be far off in the future. This is my last big spend as far as vaping is concerned for at least 6 months. I'm gonna try to promise myself that anyway.

First time I've ever heard of someone buying a mod because they dreamed they were using one, but that's far from the worst reason I've heard for buying one.

Great choice, you won't need any other Mods, I have 3 Provari's & I kept buying others to try out, nothing else compares, I no longer buy mods, save your money & use the Provari & twists for out & about, you won't regret it!! You can also pick up some less expensive Provari's in Provapes blemished dept. I have 2 from there & you can't even see a blemish on it.

Im considering a mini too since its one of the few mods you can actually get your hands on. I just dont really know how id want to set up the tank. Cartos or atty, and what will fit what? Im still learning about that stuff i guess, and dont want to make the same mistake i made when i first started. Buying ego and kgo then buying all these knock offs (which i didnt realize were knockoffs, or even know they made knock offs!) and having terrible experiences.

Very happy with my eroll and ego c and kr808+esmart, but something about a big mod with a little tank i get urges to break out the deb card!

To dream something and have the ability to make it come true is amazing!!! I always have dreams that I hit Megabucks and I wake up and it didn't happen you're going to love it I'm sure. Post pics !!

Welcome to the Provari snobs group! We all like them after saying we would never spend that much money on an ecig. Heck, we spent the price of a Provari each month on cartons of cigarettes. Why not buy the best?

There are lots of good VV and VW mods out that weren't there a year ago. Provari isn't the only good mod, but it's excellently machined stainless steel with proven military grade electronics. You can't go wrong.

My Provari Mini finally arrived today. It only took 10 days from the point of purchase to my mail box. Let me start off by saying that I'm thoroughly impressed. The build quality of this thing is second to none. I'm also impressed by the weight of it. I weighed it on my digital food scale and it comes in at 4.4oz loaded up with an 18350 battery.

This thing is just solid. I feel like I could whip it up against a garage door and it would survive. I'm not going to test that theory myself however. Upon request here are some pictures. Everybody likes pictures.

As you can tell I like black stuff. This provari is unbelievable. I didn't expect the vapor quality to be any different than my eGo, but for some reason the vapor feels thicker and a whole lot smoother. I can't say enough good things about it. Definitely worth every penny.

Ho-hum. Just got my new Provari today... <yawn>

Ho-hum only because it is my THIRD Provari in 5 months! Kinda take for granted the greatness of these things. I now have 1 silver w/ red, 1 mini silver w/ red, and now 1 reg size black w/ blue.

Kudos to Provape for sending an extension cap on the black for my being a loyal customer. I'm opening the package and am like, what's this doing in here...

Kinda diggin the new design and am on the fence on the blue display (probably because I'm so used to the red).

Caution to newbies, these things are so good you'll probably feel a need for a back-up for your back-up!

Mine arrived today also! I got the satin with an extension cap, wife got herself a purple mini. Was concerned since we are getting about 10" of snow so was afraid the mailman wouldn't show, luckily he or she toughed it out.

I was looking out the window every 5 minutes for about 2 hours this morning waiting for the mail truck to show up. Luckily, he showed up early for a Saturday. I live in MN. As you probably know we get lots of snow. But the mail ALWAYS comes no matter what. Are you telling me that in CO, they don't deliver in bad weather?
