4aaa box from radio shack
a dpak 3103
a surface mount 10k 1/4 watt resistor
and a wonderful tactile switch rated for 1M presses

There is a hole for an LED, but I got lazy

It hit pretty good on the mostly dead batteries I had laying around! Might just get spoiled by the higher voltage.

Yeah, the Pucks are nice. I went from my 510 starter to a Puck. Nine months and multiple Pucks later, I've just started li ion batt mods. And the voltage I'm vaping at w/ li ion vv is ..... 4.5 - mid Puck-range.

Strange that I'm going the other way. I do need to get a VV to mess with, but I don't like dedicating that much space to the electronics. Might be able to do a poorvari in one of these boxes, though.

I made a poorvari PT in a Mad Vapes coffin box. But then again breaktru makes a 2AA 4050C booster box; I feel lucky every time I can get 2AA batteries in a 2AA box
