I smoked for many years. I quite cold turkey about three years ago. I then started vaping about three weeks ago. I have yet to really enjoy it like I thought I would. I do not get nearly the satisfaction from vaping that I did from the analogs. I really thought I would enjoy it and get more out of it.

I have discussed this a bit in some other threads. Maybe I was just used to the other chemicals in the analogs? Maybe I am not using a high enough nic juice?

I like that I do not smell like smoke. I like the flavors.

I just never seem to feel satisfied like I would after a analog.

I refuse to go back, but it is just not as much fun.

I agree it isn't as much fun, or not as satisfying but its definitely much better in every other department. Your body is definitely missing all of the other chemicals that analogs use, but the headaches and sleepless nights are usually caused by the nicotine withdrawal. I bypassed them with vaping, but I know what you mean, it is hard to not want "the real deal".

I've only had one cigarette in almost two months and I nearly threw up, after smoking a pack a day for 7 years, so I think I've kicked it. Just takes a bit of self control I guess. Definitely try upping the nicotine for a harsher hit, and maybe try a higher voltage device with dripping, it makes a world of difference.

Best of luck, and Vape Groovily.

i think vaping is alot of fun actually.. i can vape as much as i want, all types of different flavors, huge plumes of vapor, way better imo and now it just feels alot cleaner

can i ask what PV and setup you're using? what kind of cigarettes did you smoke and how much? you definitely might need another PV or up the nicotine mg

It takes time, hang in there. You will adjust to vaping after a month or two. Your body simply needs to get used to the different experience.

After a few months, analogs will taste terrible. If you need more out of vaping, try higher voltages, mods, different flavors, etc.. find a good tobacco flavor if need be. The flavourart tobacco flavors from Italy are apparently quite good from what I have heard. Haven't tried them myself, but their fruit and savory flavors are great.

A serious overhaul is necessary. As smokers our ability to "just say no" disappeared a long time ago. Find the highest level nicotine you can get, which as far as I know is 36 mg. Get a tobbaco flavor and commit to vaping it for a least a month, hoping that you start craving it as much as an analog. Get a fruit or coffee flavor for an occasional change. One someone suggests a flavor or a web site to get it, don't be naive. A lot of juices don't come in 36 mg. It your situation I would stick with Totally Wicked for a while, even though the juice is more expensive. They have 36 mg available in all their juices.

Get an ecig you can vape practically any time, anywhere without constant fill ups nor having to perform surgery.

Since you had already quit smoking, I assume that perhaps you began vaping rather than return to cigs? It does take time to find the optimum equipment and flavors for each person. I never found that tobacco flavors satisfied me, and only when I began to use menthol with other flavors like vanilla, did I find satisfaction. You don't mention what kind of equipment you use, but I can also add that with an eGo or 510 battery, or a 3.7v mod, I much prefer a lower resistance cartomizer or atomizer to a standard resistance, such as Boge 2.0 ohm cartomizers, or 1.5 ohm Cisco atomizers. I use 3.0 ohm cartomizers (that's about standard resistance) on a 5v GLV2 battery mod. The difference in vapor output and warmth is considerable either way.

If you read my other threads you will see the reason I started vaping again.

I have two supposedly great setups. I have a ali'i and a darwin, two of the more respected vapes. I just do not find the act satisfying. I want to have the same satisfaction I had when I smoked analogs and I do not seem to get it for some reason. I assumed that after not smoking for so long, I could use a very low nic juice, but maybe that is not the case and that is my problem. Thanks for all the help!

BTW, I really do not think my setup is the issue. I miss that buzz and or the feeling of calm/relaxation I used to get when I smoked. I do not see to experience any of that when I vape.

Like you, I had quit for 3 years before I started vaping (I missed smoking :) ). I can't honestly say I've found anything that gives me *all* of what I got from analogs, but I have found, of late, that the 18mg I'm using is a bit low. Most of the time it's okay, but I've found that occasionally, taking a few vapes off of 36mg, gives me most of what I really wanted.

To expand on that, I started out at 0mg. Pretty soon, I realized I wanted the "kick" from the nicotine, so I tried various low strengths and pretty much wound up at 18mg. While I can enjoy the flavors and being able to "play" with the vapor at that level, there are just times when I want "more". At 18mg I vape almost constantly, but if I use the 36mg (even 24mg might do it), it "satisfies" me to the point where I take, say, 4 or 5 vapes, then actually put it down for 20 to 30 minutes.

As I mentioned, it's not quite analogs, but it's pretty close. YMMV, but it's something to try just to see if it will work for you.

It's just a thought and what seems to be working for me. Let me know how it goes for you.

Ill give it a try. I guess I do not know how people get to spend all day vaping on here. I would like to do it in much the same fashion that I smoked. Maybe in the am and in the evening. I find that carrying my mods is also not nearly as convenient as carrying the packs of smokes. They are somewhat bulkier and I always seem to get juice leaking and spilling everywhere.

Get yourself a 3.7V box mod and some cartomizers, Boge to be exact. It's actually a little smaller than a pack and the carto's don't leak. Fill up a couple of extra cartos and throw them in your pocket with the condoms on. Then you're set. Simple and easy to use. Also, the hit you will get will far exceed a proprietary battery setup.

Check around on the forum. I've seen them for less than $30.

Well for the relaxation... if the act itself doesn't relax you I'd say its the nicotine as much as I hate to send you to more nicotine after you've gotten to none.... however is it possible you're not satisfied because you're not getting very much throat hit? This can be solved with a little vodka or pga added to your juice if you don't want to up your nicotine.

Have you given Swedish Snus a try? It provides elements of tobacco that vape fluids do not. Smokeless tobacco
