I experimented with a drip tip last night while watching the Pats and it was fun trying out all the different flavors right away instead of juggling cartridges.

Anyway…. blackberry jelly. I suspect there's a menthol in there (cool sensation) giving it the jelly taste but I only put about 6 drops total on the atty. From then out out and this morning all the way until today at 4 my waffles has tasted like the cool sensation in the blackberry jelly. This is with a new cartridge filled with waffles as well as blowing out my atomizer and dripping a couple drops of waffles onto it. I really thought the taste would dissipate over time but nope! I'm not really sure why.

What can I do that's easy to clean out my atomizer? I don't have alcohol or any of that and I don't want to lose the atomizer because I mess up some complex cleaning ritual. Also don't have a spare I can let sit for long unless I do this before bed.

Any suggestions?

PS: I love the drip tip but saving that for at home for now.

I had a similar issue with Mrs. T's Raspberry Jelly (God how I hate that flavor) and ended up just junking a Mega-eGo Carto because of it.

Just say 'No' to Jelly.

That's funny.. I did the same with some 100% VG cappuccino juice. It's thick enough that you really need to carefully drip it or just avoid it. I burned my first and only atty with that stuff, then proceeded to junk a mega carto with it next (for roughly the same reason - the stuff just doesn't wick very well). When it works it's delicious. Let the atty get dry and it's like a mouthful of old, dead coffee grounds.

To the OP: I have the same problem with a cinnamon flavor I like once in a while. I was dripping it yesterday evening and kept tasting it for hours after switching to something else. It wasn't all that unpleasant so I didn't bother with cleaning/changing the atty. Eventually it went away. If you burned any of that on your atty, cleaning with alcohol may be the only salvation.
