I haven't even tried DIY stuff yet, but I'd be willing to bet it's really subjective as stated above. I'm thinking I may just forget about all the flavored foo foo stuff and start vaping my socks!!
But I digress...Seriously, I can't wait to try some DIY, but I still think my main vape is gonna end up being some menthol creation...
I realize this has very little to do with the topic, but I figured..."what the heck!" I'm in a chatty mood suddenly. Forgive me for making no sense at all...maybe someone will post something intelligent now.![]()
You... havn't... tried... DIY...
WHAT?!
your missing out. Honestly I was scared off by everyone who made it out to be this incredibly complicated process.
I remember making a forum topic a while back and so many people tried to turn me away from DIY claiming there was a "learning curve"
The best message of that entire post said this:
"DIY is basically nic juice, VG, Flavoring, Sweetner"
And that's all there is too it.
I grab my bottle of 24 mg nic juice i bought of Liberty-flights. Drop 50 drops in a bottle I have laying around. Throw 50 drops of USP VG you buy at a cvs, 10 - 25 drops of flavor, 5 drops of sweetner. Shake it up. clean out my carto or w/e while it's "seeping", and then fill up.
When I'm about to leave to go out and hang with friends, I can do this all in less than 5 min and be out the door.
No gloves, no syringes, no chemical .... labs. Just drops of liquid into a 5ml or 10ml bottle. It's cheaper in the long run, and adds a whole new level to your e-cig experience.
"what if I mix this caramel with apple?! or what if I mix the rasberry with peanut butter?!" -Me doing DIY
I've even played with pure extracts that you can buy at the supermarket. Some of them surprisingly work, but that's an entirely different topic.
pure extract vs imitation, oils, corn syrup, artificial colors and flavors blah blah blah
DIY also comes in handy when you run out of nic juice. You can still vape something tasty until your new order comes in. It worked for me for a few days.
