Now I understand that everyone gets sick and that it's not that big of a deal.... however, BEFORE my PV, I would be in the hospital hooked to a breathing machine within a week of getting sick. I was plagued with chronic bronchitis, asthma and a slew of other lung issues. I caught a cold from my 1 year old neice and thought "oh crap, I am going to be in the ER soon," but I am NOT!! I am so excited that I am getting better and I believe that it is due to the fact that I switched from analogs to my PVs.

I am so happy that I found this forum and was able to make the switch. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to ECF and all the members that have helped me with random questions that I have had.

That is really great news. I have less colds congestions since switching also. I just read your post to my husband who has COPD and asthma and usually ends up in the hospital a couple of times a year when his cold goes to bronchitis then pneumonia. He hasn't been hospitalized once since he quit the analogs and started vaping a little over 2 years ago.

Thanks for sharing this - its another reminder what the good old "smoking" days were really like and why vaping is so much better!

I started out at 36mg juice and I am now down to about 15mg DIY. The times before when I was sick, smoking a cigarette would burn my throat and lungs but I just COULD NOT quit smoking them. I would be in the hospital with a patch on and begging my husband to light a cigarette so I could smoke. I should mention that I am only 30 but I started smoking when I was 11, so I got all of the lung problems early. My doctors told me last time I was hospitalized that this would eventually kill me (I am allergic to quite a few of the medicines that they would normally give someone to combat lung illness).

Has anyone else found their allergies lessening? I live in the pollen capital of the world (to me at least) and every year my allergies kill me. This year, although everything is yellow (the truck, the boat, the house, etc.) I am not having as many problems. I *normally* would be using my inhaler and fighting to breathe, but since I started vaping I haven't used it once....

I have noticed a lack of allergies , and my chronic bronchitis has calmed . I feel great.

I still get all the same allergic reactions, but they definitely don't mess with my chest and lungs as much.

My wife had the flu recently & I never got it! It's gotta be the PG I keep inhaling!
Propylene glycol is an anti-microbial agent that can kill bacteria, virus, fungi, and germs.

I used to get sick at least twice a year with colds and/or the flu.
And the minimum time from the start of symptoms to the end of misery was at least one week.

I have only been sick ONCE in the nearly four years I have been vaping, and it lasted ONE day.
I felt the symptoms coming on one morning, had a slightly sore throat all day, woke up the next morning perfectly fine.
