So I decided today would be THE day that I finally threw out the smokes and just vaped all day! I brought them with me just in case (left them in the car). So as I am driving to work sipping on my coffee I easily passed them off to puff on my mint flavored juice and was perfectly content! Through lunches and breaks the thought crossed my mind but I had no desire to walk ALL the way to my car to get those nasty things. So as I am driving home temptation sets in.... I light it, i puff it *PUKE* (not literally)! Tossed it out the window, rolled the window back and up and that is that! I am done =] Happy vaping! :vapor:

Congrats but realize for the first 2-4 weeks we suffer from WTA withdrawal so you're doing great. I remember when I began vaping and 4 hrs after starting I lit up an analog out of curiosity, puffed on it twice and threw it away. Tasted like dry stale hay and Wife was absolutely stunned and amazed as she knows how much I LOVED (note past tense :) ) my analogs. The best of luck to you and again congrats.

I have had some trouble ... I have had my volt for almost a week now =\ so this is a BIG deal for me =]

it is always good to hear stories like this...after a week of not smoking at all I lit one up and I took one puff and did not even inhale and was thought it was awful so I have not lit up since. I now have 2 mods 2 ego style batteries several carto tanks a slew of cartos and several attys and tons of varieties of juices...I am having fun doing this vape stuff...its now not only an addiction but a hobby as well.

Yeah, that pretty much describes the taste, gross! I have 2 munchkins cheering me on, so it helps a bunch! Thanks for the support!

Having a cheering squad helps. I live alone, and my parents are 3.5 hours away, so they haven't seen this yet. But once I made the switch, I made sure to talk to some local friends about it while on Facebook one evening, and they're receptive to me doing this. Lots of encouragement so far. Mostly from the nonsmokers, but a few smokers are interested in trying my stuff out to see if they like it. I figure next time I hangout with them I'll bring some alcohol prep pads to clean the mouth piece and gladly let them try.

Work is kind of a mixed bag. I got a lot of "Do those work" questions for sure, but after 2 full weeks, mostly it's smoking coworkers following my progress regularly to see if it "sticks." So I would call them cautiously optimistic support :)

But hands down, having someone to talk to that gives encouraging words is a big thing. This site is a huge help with that, but I think hearing (or reading it) from people you know face to face as friends is a big deal.

Yes, I was introduced by a real life friend - I tried all the different juices he had and was very much interested but still wasn't completely sold UNTIL ..... he let me borrow it!! I was pretty much hooked and had to get one for myself! Cheers to not smelling or tasting like an ashtray! =]

You're welcome! lol, another one converted

Congrats on quitting, i'm in much the same boat as you are. It has been 14 days since my last analog and i don't care to go back at all. I have a question for some veterans out there though who have experienced the withdraws before. Did anyone else feel like they were having acid reflux/bile problems? My stomach has been bugging me for the past week and i can't seem to figure out what it is that is causing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Good for you, Carrie. Having a couple of ankle biters gives you even more motivation to quit. :) It's a great feeling, isn't it, to know that you can finally beat the cigarette addiction? I'm over 4 days since my last analog, and I'm not really tempted to go smoke one either. I get the urge every now and then, but a couple of quick vapes and I'm good.

Congrats, Carrie. I startet vaping 6 month ago and I can tell you that the constitution of your body and your health will getting better from day to day. But don´t panic, if there will come a day which makes you smoking a tobacco cigarette. Every cigarette you´re not smoking is a great success. I had a few days I didn´t get the taste of the liquids and I didn´t get my nicotine flash. So I smoked analog and hell, the taste was disgusting... ;-) So I bought some different liquids and atomizers and "restarted" vaping. Today I´m happy in using this alternative! You will be too!!! Vape on, Carrie!

Congrats! I got my G6 Kit 3 weeks ago and the first week I only had 1-4 cigs a day, depending. The 2nd week I just smoked cause I could (my husband smokes). Now I have gone 72 hours smoke free! And that is with access to the cigs, today I picked one up, held it, put it in my mouth, but DIDN'T light it! Told myself I can still "smoke" just different :). Now I'm looking into getting those sweet flavors from Ms. T's or something! Best of Luck to you!!!!
