I've noticed film on my windows...it's a small thing to clean the glass every now and then. Definitely have to clean less as a vaper than when I was a smoker. I've also noticed leaving the windows cracked helps quite a bit...
Not trying to hijack! But does in generally take about a week for high vg residue to show up? I'm in a service truck all day and vape with the windows up. Especially in Orlando traffic. But i really haven't noticed any residue.
I have a 1 year old car and I find it amazing how much film gets deposited on the windshield down here, independently of vaping (which I'm reasonably new to). I never had to deal with it up north. My guess it is an interaction between the subtropical sun down here and the volatiles being liberated from the top of the dash. Also, I find it very difficult to remove, even with concentrated window cleaner. Once it warms up a bit this weekend, I'm going to try a light volatile organic solvent, because water/amonia-based cleaner just seems to swirl it around, making night glare worse than if I do nothing. I imaging vapor residue must be much easier to deal with.
