I went to a Bday party yesterday and 90% of them were smoking analogs...and I vaped 0 nic the whole time!!!!!

It is now 3 weeks and a day since I quit. So yay for me and yay for all of you who are doing the same!

BTW, I can't believe I ever smelled like that. WTH was I thinking???

Shadow, you can do this. I was absolutely distracted and couldn't focus to the point of tears the first few days...day 4 got a little better and then day 8 was hairy again for some reason.

We all need to be kind to ourselves when going through this transition. It took a while to get hooked and it'll take a while to unlearn the habit.

That would be Spaceship Earth at Epcot (also known as the big golfball looking thing). I thought it looked funny and cool with the palm trees in front of it. Kind of removes it from the "futuristic" aspect with those trees, lol!

Kryssi, I think the next big step for me to help things along is a massive closet cleaning/laundry day.
ALL my clothes smell of smoke. I only ever smoke outdoors, but it's something that will help, I hope.

As rancid as it smells, it still instantly makes me want one.

Don't I know it! I instantly felt light headed at the party...not the second hand smoke kind of dizzy, but the weird spacy feeling you get when you don't have a cigarette in awhile.

I have to say, I've done well with the TV thing. Most of those chefs were smoking on Hell's Kitchen and it didn't make me want one....it DID however, make me hungry as heck!

Funny story to share, and I hope I am not detracting from your thread Kryssi:

Vaping at the Starbucks today enjoying a coffee with my e-cig with only one other patron in the store.

Keep getting dirty looks from him when after about 10 minutes,
he goes to the barista and says:
"Starbucks is a smoke free environment! WHY are you letting him smoke in here!" (He was quite indignant)
Funny that the young lady working knew what I was doing and was also a friend, she replies:
"It is a Personal Vaporizer sir, there is NO SMOKE"
Indignant man says:
"Really?...(pause) Well, I STILL don't like it! "



Hopefully you guys can get a kick out of it too and save a smile for the rest of your day.

I am around people all the time who smoke at work and home and I am so suprised that it does not bother me. I haven't had the normal omg I want a cig feeling at the normal time, like after eating or getting in the car after work. Mine just strike me randomly.
