I now understand what all the come up ins are about. E-cigs are dangerous, but not to your health, to your pocket book. I smoked for 15 years and don't really want to figure out how much I spent on cigarettes. I can honestly say though that I liked the way that smoking made me feel, I hated the taste of analogs after a while. Now with the many flavors or juices available, I'm in trouble too. I get the feeling of smoking with the taste of waffles, or pina colada. Thats just dangerous and my wallet is unhappy, not to mention that my water bill has probably gone up since I took up the vape :p

Tell me about it. I've spent over $500 this month trying to get my "setup" right.

$50 for my EGO kit
$110 for my Phidias boxmod
$140 for my Ali'i boxmod
god knows how much on different juices and atomizers

I'm hoping once I find my favorite setup the cost will drop drastically. So far I love the boxmods, I've only received the Phidias so far, but it's a HUGE improvement over the EGO (retired now!) can't wait for the more pocket friendly Ali'i!!! Also settled on the LR306 and LR510 attys although I prefer the LR306.

Just need to find some juices that don't irritate the lungs and I am good to go. The only juice I've tried that didn't irritate me was the original "USA Tobacco" mix I bought when I got my EGO. I have no doubt it's some generic chinese brand, but surprisingly it's the only one that I haven't had a reaction to. I thought by going with the USA brands they would be healthier, but not so far!

I have juices incoming from freedomsmokeusa and avejuice, hopefully they do the trick!

As far as the spending goes, I guess it's a good thing that my husband hasn't taken to vaping. I have to keep a tight hold on the purchases I make. I always want new flavors and since I've only been doing it a couple of months I am still learning how everything works. I've spent money on carts, cartos, attys, larger batteries (from MV to 510 to 510 mega) and juices. Oh the juices! I love the juices and trying new juices and omg some sites let you make your own flavors!

But I smoked for 17 years, quit for 8 years, smoked for 5 years... now I vape! No more hacking up slime in the mornings. My smoker's cough is GONE! My voice is losing the raspiness. And for goodness sake I can walk from my office building to my car without huffing and puffing. I feel better! I don't stink!

After the initial purchase, what I spend per week doesn't begin to touch what I was spending on my 2-3 pack-a-day habit. And how much better I feel is PRICELESS!!! :toast:

HI, Dude...I have 2 bottles of USA mix from Modern Vapor (is that the same?). One has never been opened and the other has a little bit gone...at most 2-3ml. I'm not crazy about it, so if you would like it, I can send it out to ya!
