I didnt think it would work, and it didnt, why?

Hi

So, I really like my passthrough, alot, I like vaping at 5v
So I will make my own mod, but thought I would just try a real cheap and dirty idea first

I have a couple of those "emergency phone charger things" and Im thinking that because they output 5v I could just hook this up to my passthrough and it would work, but alas no joy.

So my question is why?

They do enough to activate the "auto" battery but no vapor

It goes without saying that I dont know much yet.

Any help/guidance

2 regular AA batteries don't put out enough voltage and definately not enough wattage to power an atty.

there is a mod made based on that energizer case,, but the creator had to use a 3.7v 14500 battery to get volts/watts to power it... i'm not sure if he managed to get a steady 5v output using the energizer's circut board....

maybe someone else here will chime in if they remember it?

My experiments have indicated that you need a proper amount of current to make an atomizer work. 5 volts is a nice voltage, but, if you are not providing at least 1-1.5 amps of current, you will not get any kind of satisfaction.
