I
I get serious leaking and flooding.
Anyways. I am on a budget, and as I said, Do not usually rta. But When I do they always leak. So I am looking for a clone today. (please no clone vs authentic debates, each has benefits, and today for me its a clone)

Can people suggest a clone that works, preferably off fasttech, due to living overseas, and they have free shipping? or are they all doomed to leak?
Thanks

PS, I already have the Orchid V6

Well. I have the Silverplay and the Orchid V6 Clone.

Both clones. Usually I vape dual coil..I suppose i could try single.
Usually kinda mouth to lung. Almost a lung inhale though. Its almost a mix i guess

Possibly a wicking issue.

Anyways. I would be happy if I could find a tank that I could throw a build on, It wouldnt leak Even if I had on its side, or whatever. I mean, I got the tanks so I could take them outside. and Cant, Because I am worried Ill be left without juice....

The key is a delicate balance between having enough wicking to block the flow of juice getting to the airflow, but not having so much that it restricts the flow of juice getting to the coil.

Each atty is slightly different, but with most it's doable! Persist, watch YouTube videos and don't be afraid to ask questions here :)

@Mr. Miyagi, Lemos, Kayfuns, Rose V2, Aqua V2. Out of these four none are prone to leaking but the Rose can if wicked badly. The Kayfuns, Rose and Aqua are MTL and give great flavor, with the Rose giving the most flavor concentration but can be tricky to build at first. The Aqua is designed to be built single or dual coil as the deck air holes are threaded but is dead simple to build coil and wick, AFC also works limited juice control, rugged and Acrylic tank for outdoor knocking about. Can also be a dripper. Lemos are DTL single coil and are basically big air Kayfuns, not as concentrated flavor and large exposed glass. The Rose is the most high to 100% VG friendly out of these four. All are TC friendly except the KF V4 but that can be cured with a simple mod.

Judging from what you have said so far I would give the Aqua V2 a serious look. If you build it single coil remember to shut off the unused juice channels by packing wick in them. FT SKU 1980802.

Leaking RTAs usually point toward a wicking issue and can be fixed. I wouldn't jump on a new purchase yet, you should give what you have another shot.

Wicking is very tedious with a tank. Wicks need to sit in the channels and fill the space they are in so it can absorb liquid without getting over saturated or liquid running past the wick. Sometimes wick can get too close to air inlets causing liquid to seep into your airflow too. Each tank can be wicked a little differently, but I think you can wick the orchid and silverplay pretty much the same.

Would you be able to post a picture of your coil and wick? We would be able to get a better grasp of your issue. And if all seems to check it out it could be a loss of vacuum somewhere.

THIS.

Rather than blaming tanks by name, it's always a good idea to post your build/wick first, and show us that you're not wicking the thing like an RDA (like a bowl of Cup o Noodles) and expecting the thing to be pocketable, because tbh, anyone can wick an RDA.

Yes, let's see pics of your builds. I had a Silverplay and Orchid v3, and leaking wasn't a problem.

When I've had leaks, it has been due to:
1. User error. Not wicked correctly or filled correctly. For example, I top filled my HCPlus (which must top fill) and accidentally opened the afc while I was doing it. Flood city! Yes, the afc ring moves very easily, but still my fault for not being more careful and aware.
2. Problem with the tank. Bad o ring or seal leading to loss of vacuum. One of my SquapeR clones the chimney brushed the edge of the deck and could pull a wick out of the slot when screwing the base back onto the tank. I had to make sure my wick was trimmed totally flush with the deck so that didn't happen.

Hey guys thanks.
I did not add any pictures... because, While I know how to do it, it is kinda a pain having to take it with my phone, Upload it to facebook, Download it from facebook on to my computer, and then upload it to here.
Any ways, The wise words made me think it was my issue. I rewicked the Silverplay after watching another video.
and it leaked... so much.
Then I rewicked and recoiled the orchid. Didnt leak a drop. But the airflow is so restrictive Im getting burnt hits. Its possible the claptons should not have gone in there? Anyways, I need more air.
And then I just Rewicked the Silverplay again after watching 2 more videos. Its decent now. Clouds are good, Not burnt at all... etc, And hasnt leaked, although I havent put it on its side.

The airflow is better with this... but I would like a tank with MAsssive air flow! Anything like that exist?Just something like, With an airflow ... not super marrive, but a bit better than this one?

Thanks again guys for your help. Dont want you all to think I just got the info and Ran... haha...I do appreciate and love all of ya'll

Big air RTAs

Goblin
Goblin Mini
Goliath V1 and v2
Cthulhu v1 and v2
There's more but these are the first that come to mind.

I have a goblin mini, Goliath v2 and Cthulhu v2

In order of airflow
Goliath V2
Cthulhu V2
Goblin mini

I like the Goliath
I received the Cthulhu yesterday so I reserve my opinion on it

The Goblin mini is the most flavorful of these but is a moist vape, and it should have had the Lightening Vapes drip tip from the factory.

When you build your RTA, make sure that the coil and only the coil is above the airflow holes. Never, ever allow cotton to be directly above your air holes. So yeah, make sure your coils are properly centered. If they are off center and you have cotton exposed to that airflow, it's going to drip down in there and leak on ya.
