I think Tobeco clone is the best.... I have 2 hurricane and 1 firebird. The first one was Tobeco clone and the other hurricane and firebird came from FT.
The Tobeco one, from the beginning until now have 0 issue. Even in the airplane, if I forget to turn it upside down, this tank won't give any leak on me.

The hurricane from FT have an issue after several months... Now it gave me leaks from the pin... Anyone experiencing the same? I haven't tried to fix this but I might have to do it sooner or later or it might break down my mod. Every day I have to clean the pin and the mod.. It is not a bad leak, maybe like 1 or 2 drops of e-liquid but still, it is a leak

The firebird bought the latest... maybe 3 months ago. The build is the worse IMO, maybe because thinner material. The issue with the firebird started about a week ago. When I try to open to re-fill, the AFC is being rotated first until the end before it hold in place so I would be able to open the tank from the mod. However, lately instead of stopping at the smallest hole, it will still rotate one more time then jammed. Happened all the time I need to refill. I can rotate back the AFC with force but it need extra effort while I am lazy.

Anyone have similar issues? I can't find anymore Tobeco clone one in my country... Otherwise, I will just buy one more.

My Tobeco Hurricane is still doing well, don't use the other much. Health Cabin is not the cheapest place to buy from but they claim in-stock on the Tobeco.

tobeco hurricane black rebuildable atomizer (clone)

Hi, thanks for the info. I have never purchase anything from health cabin before. Are they a Chinese company? Have you purchase anything from them before?
So far I have only tried FT and 3fvape

Yes as far as I know they are China based, I've only purchased from them a couple times, but both experiences were positive. I normally choose FT, and 3F, or maybe Focal, but sometimes go elsewhere due to availability. Personally I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them.

T for Texas!
I believe he is outside the US so shipping would be a deal killer. A few places in the US still have inventory.
Free shipping bubba.

First my name is not Bubba,
Sorry, southern thang :)

second, that free shipping is within the US. As already mentioned, pretty sure he is not within the US borders.

I'm confused, is it the time it takes to ship that is the concern or the cost? Sorry, just not getting the concern but I'm sure I'm missing something.

Cost, a small package like an atomizer is minimum of $9.00 to Canada, anything which actually goes outside US or Canada is even more. Most businesses won't ship using a non traceable package, so that leaves Priority Mail which starts out about $25.00 to foreign Countries, and even if they will ship non priority a small package like an atomizer will cost a minimum of $14.00.

Its an unfortunate fact US to foreign Country shipping is not very cost effective. The only way it is really worthwhile is if it is a package containing multiple items which are costly enough to warrant the shipping.

I guess if one was desperate enough or not concerned about cost, but then if that were the case probably be buying an authentic.

Yes, you are right... The shipping cost could be more than the product itself which makes it not interesting anymore unless I don't have other option. I live in Indonesia so shipment from US is not a good thing.

I will check health cabin to see how much is their shipping cost. Keeps me wonder for those Chinese online sellers of their capability in sending products for free... I bought a $1 drip tip before with free shipping. Even local delivery in Indonesia will cost more than that.

I hope it works out for @Phassat .

I have been quietly contemplating getting a solid clone for either a Hurricane or Kayfun 5, or even both. It has been 6 months since I started vaping, and whilst I do enjoy all the cloud blowing and sweet heavenly flavours, I am really beginning to miss the tobacco taste, and thus I'm looking at good restrictive DL tanks. It's good to hear there are affordable, albeit inauthentic, variations to these high end tanks.

G'day @KayP , you should try Hurricane, very easy to build, no leaking, good flavor. It is quite heavy even for the clones but it gave premium feel to it.

For tobacco there is no ejuice that could imitate the taste but I don't attracted anymore to tobacco even now I don't really like the smell & taste anymore.
Boba's Bounty was tagged as tobacco flavor... It was very good (to me... but it could be really bad for somebody else because of distinct taste) but I don't feel that it is anywhere near tobacco flavor.

Thanks. Yes, I've heard lots of good things about the Hurricane.

I've spent most of my 6 months concentrating on DL vapes and blowing clouds, but lately I have been finding more satisfaction with a restrictive DL vape, higher nic levels and TH. I hear the Hurricane is exceptional for MTL, but how is it for restrictive DL?
(I'm getting an odd feeling of déjà vu... it's as if I may have already asked the above question once before. My apologies in advance.)

I'm in no danger of returning back to the stinkies, but I really did like the smell and taste of tobacco. In addition, I am getting a tad sick of sweet vapes. I'm giving Yaeliq's tobacco flavours a go; they've dropped their prices until the end of July.

You might want to look in to the Hurricane Junior too. I don't have neither (but SJMY Junior clone is on the way) but from what I understand it has a more open airflow than it's bigger brother.

I love this tank….wicked it flush to the juice holes first time and got some flooding due to the thin wall of cotton.

Rewicked like Busardo does on his video…the S shape…with considerably longer and fluffier wick tails…problem solved.

Using the second smallest air hole….only on one side…for a perfect MTL vape.

One thing that bugged me….that chimney cap is a real bear to get off while refilling, especially since the chimney is a bit slippery with juice. Also noticed that if you tighten the cap fully, it kinda scrunches up the o-ring under the chimney cap so it pops out into the juice chamber..probably a loose o-ring….does anyone know the size….I read it was 12X1…but wanted to confirm.

PS. For anyone who is worried about jamming the airflow ring while unscrewing the base, just open it to the biggest air hole, insert the little blue screw driver for leverage and use that to twist it open.

It's one of the best clones of one of the best RTAs for sure!

I ordered the following pieces for my FT hurricane clone:

$3.80 Replacement PC Tank for Hurricane Junior RTA Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
It's for the JR. but I believe it will fit the normal Hurricane also. Will report back when confirmed

$14.14 Replacement Top Cap Tank for Hurricane RTA Atomizer - w/ drip tip at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Going to use this simply for the Top Fill cap, not the phoenix cage.

Also, there is an even better wick than the "S"... see article below to see if want to give it a go:
