I did not get a Hurricane clone. Instead I went for the kayfun 5 clone by Tobecco. I loved it so much that bought a second one, and then a kayfun 4 clone by Tobeco too. I still sub ohm, but I love MTLing and Restrictive DLing tobacco flavours on my Kayfuns.

I have multiple of the following atties (mostly clones, some authentic):
  • Erl nano
  • KFL+
  • Hurricane
  • Squape R(s)
  • Phenomenon Lite
  • Calix V2
  • Tilemahos V2
  • KFV3
I have a ton of KFL+ clone parts bought from FT to make atties for under $10 in case of vapapocolypse :)

Rose V3 coming this week.

Flavor chasing all day for me :)

IMO the FT Hurricane is a good investment if you decide to give 'er a try.

It's one of the best clones of one of the best RTAs for sure!

I ordered the following pieces for my FT hurricane clone:

$3.80 Replacement PC Tank for Hurricane Junior RTA Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
It's for the JR. but I believe it will fit the normal Hurricane also. Will report back when confirmed

I have the SJMY Junior, a full sized Tobeco, and an unknown full size, the SJMY junior has smaller threading on the base then either of the full size, so unfortunately the SJMY tanks won't fit the full size Hurricanes.

I was just checking through some tanks, the Junior seems to be threaded the same as the Taifuns, though the Taifun tanks are very slightly larger, and the chimney is about 3/8 inch to short to work on it. That is the only thing I really don't like about the Junior is the tank would like to see a steel & glass option for it.

Thanks for the offer on the tank, I'd definitely not mind having an extra.

When I have just refilled this tank, the vapour is quite substantial and dense….but when it gets to about the halfway mark and lower the vapour thins out a bit…is this normal?
Silly question.. but did you recharge the battery? Or is the charge low?

LOL That's the only reason I think of.

No offense intended; I'm silly like that :)

I have 316S clone from FT and in a week that airflow ring is stuck. I think its has been rusty. Put a high VG juice a bit and its work normal. Now after 1 week left its stuck forever. I noticed to that the chamber cap (which have a juice gap fir wicking) it seem to loose. I love this tank but it became rubbish now. Until tomorrow accidentally I see FT launching SJMY Hurricane clone. I have very great exp from SJMY. Their clone are superb. Even beyond SXK clone. Anyone try this SJMY Hurricane yet? Pls share. Thx

That is the one I and many others have. 4.6 rating with 129 reviews is a pretty exceptional clone and it is the

Have you tried reaching out to support at FT to let them know the issues you have run into to see if you can get it fixed or replaced?

Also, feel free to upload pics here to see if we can help.

I'm sure the SJMY is a stellar clone also.

I just got the regular 316ss clone (not the sjmy version) and I'm moving except for the ffact that whenever I screw in the base it twists the wick/juice flow control. Does anyone have a fix for that? I think there us supposed to be an oring down in the deck but it dosnt look like mine has it
Pics? Of the deck and the twisted mess.

Its what I mention before. The o ring on base to thin so its not grip well the base cap. So its turn around easily when you put the base top cap. Well.. let see the SJMY clone then.

The hurrican does not have juice flow control...maybe the barrel that clicks into the deck is moving, taking the wick with it....thats not good....you need to grip that ring or barrel firmly between thumb and index finger while you tighten the chimney cap on.

I also wouldnt keep any cotton hanging outside the wicking slots....google hurricane wicking angsty and check out how he does it.
