SF...I started much the same as you...Vaping nirvana to me would be a system that provides adequate vapor, easy to operate and cost effective...I've spent quiet a lot of cash getting things working smoothly...I've never tried a Mega in a 510 platform because syringe ffilling to me seems to be quiet a pain....My cartomizer of choice is IkenVapes Mega 808,,,condom filled at first and fed thru a Super-T tip from that point...They last a good long time with many fills...MANY..I also throw on a MadVapes SLB 901 from time to time just for a change...Also fed through a Super-T...I've got a Black Bullet, Silver Bullet and a GGTS....I never use them and I'm just keeping them around as backups...The Buzz is my PV of choice...The voltage is variable but the best feature is the voltage does not start at 4.2 and then drop well below 3.0...Through the cycle it remains a constant 4.45...Constant start to finish adjustable voltage is easier on the carto or atty..It simply makes them live longer...providing the best vape possible at the same time...That system is a little more costly at first but cheaper in the long run....

Oh I have been looking at his steel whistle drip tips and going back and forth on if I wanted a couple of those or not. I mean it is worth the money with it being steel and honestly you would never have to buy another. Well unless you dropped it and stepped on it, or ran over it. lol

So here is what we are thinking of doing. Getting enough of the whistle cartos to last the month only for our big all day vapes. Then the drip tips for our trial juices. Now just to add up how many cartos we will need. Oh my poor poor brain. lol

Well grumpy, I'd be careful of the steel drip tips up there in that cold country. I'd be afraid my lips would freeze to the danged thing like some little boy did in a movie we were watching on tv last night! His tongue froze to a light pole!!!

Getting the mega-carto's for your all day vapes and the drip tips for sampling is a good idea. Its pretty much what I do.

Couple pointers, I use a ball cap with those attachable LED lights and reading glasses for seeing inside the mega-carto. Get white colored carto's - easier to see the inside. Take the needle off the syringe and fill the syringe with juice, then put the needle on. Use a real small pair of needle-nose pliers to tighten the needle real good. Spraying juice all over everything ain't fun. The pliers help to get the needle back off too.

A regular sized paper clip seems to work good to get the mouthpiece and seal plug out of the mega-carto. Be sure to get the seal plug back in the right way. One side has a little bump sticking up, that end will go in first. Tamp it down in firmly. Get one cc syringes. They will fit into most of the juice bottles if you take off the drip cap (with the little needle nose pliers).

Okay grumpy? Any more questions, just ask. I'm always here.

Now I have a question. What is the threading on an eGo? It it an 808, 510 or what? I don't have an eGo but always wanted to know.

I just looked that up the Mega 808 and that monster holds 54 to 70 drops and goes 3 to 5 hours before needing refill. I have to say that we are impressed! And you don't have to use a syringe to refill them?? (yep still noob stupid here. lol)

I have looked at many of the VV mods and I have to say that they scare me only because I haven't researched them closely enough. The only other one that I have fallen in love with and still don't know much about (expect what is discussed in the thread) is the Infinity that is coming out soon. I do like the GG slim, but yet or have that kind of money to kick into just a PV.

You're a total turd for making me laugh!

Ya know I didn't even stop and think about my lips freezing to the steel tip. Now I have just backed up on getting a couple of those. Or ya know me and the partner could always come and live with you and the Mrs's in yer warm weather down there. Although I don't think you would be up to living with three women. lmao!

And yes the other night when I was first taking apart some of the round tips for cleaning I was cussing at the fact that I couldn't see down the darn thing to get the middle piece back in before replacing the tip. Also, those crazy little middle pieces like to flip over while being inserted. So yeah I will be investing into one of those lights so I can see.

So 2 syringes should do good for the both of us and yes I will remember to have my needle nose pliers around. The messes that we have been through lately have been quite frustrating, and we don't need the needles making a mess themselves.

Oh goody I have been putting them back together right and pushing them down. I did learn however and lost a couple of my whistle tips that the seal in them won't go back in right no matter how much you try to work them.

Hey grumpy Shell, Welcome to NotCigs is having a raffle for an Infinity on Christmas Day. Its not too late to enter.

I entered, but I've never won anything in my life, so you'd have a better chance.

Yep we are both signed up for that. I just feel bad for Buzz having so much trouble with his manufacturers.

Hey Grumpy, actually, I could handle all those women being around! In fact, I was thinking about opening a home for wayward girls between the ages of 18 and 21. My wife might have different thoughts on that though. She usually does with all my good ideas.

On the seal plug. I put it nob end up on my index finger and then bring the whistle tip end down onto it to get it started. Then I turn it all over and tamp down the seal plug with the blunt end of a darning needle. Works real good!

Hope you get over your grumps, grump.

18 to 21?? I wanna come and watch as she tans your hide. lol

I will have to try that because all I have been doing is taking the tip off and cleaning them. I didn't want to have to throw anymore away because I kept bending the seal on them, but will give this a try.

Why are you cleaning them? Just refill them with the same juice.

I don't know how you COULD clean them ... but remember don't do what I did. I mixed Draino, baking soda and vinegar together to clean some cartos and blew out the south wall of the kitchen. My wife was HOT!!!

Then I had to go out at 2:30 in the morning and borrow some materials from my neighbor to fix the wall with and came this close to getting shot with his shotgun. He did kill two of his chikins though, so I picked them up and took them too.

Made a nice breakfast.

Hi
Don't know whether this has been asked before but I'll take my chances here.
I have 2 eGos--650 batteries and accessories. Each one of them comes with a cone. I'd like to find out whether using the cone while vaping will shorten the life of the atty. I like the cone being on while vaping but I'm not sure about the strain on the atty ( getting too hot) . I wanna do the right thing.
Thanks very much

We have to clean them because we use different juices in them. We have 22 different juices and while I have pretty much settled on my favs, the partner is still changing her juices left and right. She also has both of her eGos going, one has a lower nic and one type of juice, and the other has a higher nic and a different type of juice. Me I keep it simple. One juice, one eGo. When I switch juices I clean everything up and get new fluval and fresh cart with a nice clean atty. :)

Not much to add except going Low Res on an eGo will not hardly effect battery life.

Thats all I use on my two eGos for the last 5 months. Not a single problem.

Im just a little afraid of over cooking it because we chain vape.

Its gotten bad. If I don't know that my pv is close to me or in my hand I go a bit bonkers checking where I left it. lol

These cartos really do hold from 50-70 drops of liquid and last forever. You can get them in 510 or 808, no special adapter needed. You owe it to yourself to give them a try. I sent Free2Bme 2 of them well over a month ago and she is still refilling and using them! You really can't go wrong with these. :)

So it really would be worth setting us up with them. 2 attys a piece, and a couple pks of the big carts. And big drip tips?
