I was checking the water temperature of a pool on vacation with my girlfriend and PLOP down goes my ProVari and Digital Camera... Noooooo!!
I quickly removed my shoes and pants and fished it out. It was in there at least 30 seconds, perhaps slightly more.
I came back to my hotel room and dried the ProVari out with a hair dryer because I was impatient. A half hour later I tried to use it again. A light flashed but nothing. 4 hours later, the screen worked but showed wrong values and I was getting the E2 error.
That night I left it under the radiator in the room (no battery). The next morning I tried to use it and it worked! It's been three days since then and I have had no problems whatsoever. Still the great ProVari I remembered.
As for the digital camera... it's dead as a doornail. Luckily all the pictures were recoverable in the SD card, phew.
More about the ProVari, it has been the only e-cig device I use for about 6 months now and it's great. I drip with a 2.2Ω 510 atomizer, usually at 3.9 or 4.0 depending on the juice I use. Great flavor and consistent results. The best e-cig device I've ever owned. I've even dropped it multiple times (once onto rocks from a height of 5 feet or so) with no damage to the device and only slight aesthetic nicks.
