i got my joye510 on Tuesday and i was not aware of how much i needed to fill the empty carts i just did a few drops per 10-15 drags and ya i messed it up and accidently twist the cap on both atty's so now i have irritating polly fill that is impossible to get out my atty's. it seems like if i drag too consistently witch i usually do if i have the urge i will drag 3-5 times however it tastes like the heat source is burning the excess polly fill. so i guess i am going to purchase some new atty's and maybe some new empty cart's witch i dont think is necessary. i still manage to smoke 1-2 real smokes a day today i have not had one yet, i am currently trying to identify the main factor that gives me the urge to have a analog.

What i would like to know is personal experiences and if anyone else has gone through what i have, because i keep managing to get a burnt taste and then i would refill and prime and usually it works fine but this one seems to have pooped out on me. My second atty was a huge mistake i let my friends girlfriend use my e-cig while we went to the store and when i got back she was puffing on the damn thing like a infinite blunt so i say is that battery dead? and she passes it over and i drag it and definitely the cart was empty and the atty was dry, so now i am really hesitant to let anyone use my e-cig now lol..i just cant seem to get a atty to last me over a week or so because of user error and lack of information.

OK
I would strongly consider getting some cartomizers until you get the atty thingy down.

You can buy a box of 5 blank BOGE at LiteCigUSA for $8 and only $2 shipping, so not a big deal for small orders... I would get 2 boxes to use personally...

At the very least, even if you prefer the atty/cart combo (some do, some don't) you will have them as back up in case you burn up your atty's.

Thats cool... i know... shipping on separate orders can be a bit much on many sites... LiteCig and the $2 allows for small orders...

You likely do not need much else... maybe juice, perhaps more atty's, lol, and some cartos.

Also since it appears you got the standard 510 mini.... I think a passthrough is a necessity. Those batteries do not last long enough to be used a lot, in my view. And if one of your batteries fail (and one eventually will) you are SOL without a PT.

You could drip in the old attys...it could revive them to where you don't taste that burnt flavor every hit. Try dripping 2 drops directly in the atty, then puff on it a few times....repeat, repeat a few times. You can also use a pair of tweezers to remove the excess poly that's stuck in there, and repeat the drip a few more times. If they're only a week old you should be able to revive them.

You should be able to pluck those off with tweezers.

What you are probaby tasting is dry atomizer, and we all know exactly what that tastes like.
It means your atomizer needs more juice.

If you use these like a cigarette, you'll probably need to stop using standard polyfill.
Because if you take a few consecutive drags, the standard polyfill wicking material has a hard time keeping up.

Either change your filler material to something discussed in this subforum: Cartridge Mods
Or else get a drip tip and try dripping.

My experience with burnt attys is that they stay that way, even if you clean them real good, your always gonna get that burnt taste...

Im sure some will disagree, and yes sometimes you can revive them...but more often than not they're gonna be like that forever. Your best bet would be to just buy some more and chalk it up to learning experience. I know I burnt up 2 or 3 attys back in the day with my 510 bc I'd leave it in my pocket and it would be burning away in there...
