My ego batts now have new competition with a rev 2. I have been doing cartos in the auto but I really don't like them all that much. Give me a LR 306 and I'm a happy girl!! Just can't beat the taste! I even don't mind dripping at all, but for the car it's not the best option when I don't have a drip on demand passenger.

I will get a reo at some point, but the rev 2's price point is hard to beat really. So far so good, I've even tested it out driving, works great. Who knows perhaps I'll slap a carto on it at some point :)

So although not a reo, I have joined the bottom feeding club. So far so good :)

Once you get a reo you'll be amazed at the improved quality over the rev 2. But its a great start to the world of bottom feeding. One nice thing with the reo is you don't have to flip the thing over to feed more juice and its by far more durable and easy to use.

I found the ultimate pv with the reo and no matter how fancy or flashy something is I haven't been tempted to buy something else. So for the right person they can be a huge money saver too :)

I love my Revolution2.1 but I'm finding the soft juice bottles to leach out a plastic taste into my juice/vape after a day. This is especially noticeable with MLV Wurthers (Sweetened). Yes I've washed the bottles often but still find them to wreck my juice. Switching to a clear plastic solved my problem but Juicing the Carto then sucks. Are the Reo users having this problem? Or is it just the soft plastic bottles that come with the Rev2.1 and the extra Bottles sold @ Happy vape?

The only juice to touch my reo's are backwoods brew stuff and I don't find that problem that you had with the original bottles. Feeding juice from the reo into a carto is the easiest thing in the world with the reo (that's why they are so hard to get a hold of and cost more - you definately get what you pay for). I totally suck at squonking an atty but blind squonking a carto is so easy even an idiot like myself can do it perfectly. Squonking is the term used when squeezing the juice bottle to feed the atty/carto in case you're wondering.

I'm sure the rev.2 is a great thing to start with when seeing if bottom feeding mods are your thing. The cost isn't so big and it gives you an idea of the feel for it. But in the long run there isn't anything better than a reo.

The price and the 1400 mah was what made me pull the trigger. Sadly I'm still pretty content six months in with ego batts and a variety of atties. But for car travel this is easier and safer, and at least then I'm not forced to use a cartomizer :)

As far as filling, so far so good. I used the needle tiped bottle to drip into another atomizer to just see how long and how hard to squish. So far so good. I think too that slapping a 306 on it right away helped as that's what I normally use, so I know very well what it's supposed to hit like. I do find a slight difference at a true 3.7 volts over 3.2 volts.

Oh, I also got the adapter so 510 drip tips fit on 306 atties. Works really well and now I can use all my drip tips not just the two ugly 306 ones :) Small things make me happy :)

I've been using my Reo Grand for a few weeks now and I love it. It's so hassle free it's ridiculous. The only thing I don't like that much are the 510 atomizers I'm using. I really prefer LR Ego atties, and luckily Crazy Canuck gave me one of his adapters (kudos!). I haven't tried it with the bottom feeder tho. I'm using it on my BB atm.

I also have a 306 LR atty that I need to try, but no drip tip... (doh!).

Revolution, Reo or self made bottom feeder.. it does not matter if I taste plastic in the juice after sitting overnight. I don't know if it's because of the sweetener or the Nicotine/PH but any abnormal alteration in the juice like that can not be good for people.

My doctor warned me about the softer plastics due to leaching. One tip he had was to look for the Hard & Clear plastics like you see with Drinking water and Coca-Cola (safest) and be careful with a lot of the Distilled water being sold, ..which a lot of the times is the softer white-ish plastic. I can taste the plastic in those cheap Distilled water jugs from the supermarkets and drugstores easily!

I don't consider leaving cancerous analogs behind and potentially trading it for cancer promoting & hormones disrupting plastic leachants from soft bottles a wise direction. I'm not seeing Polyvinyl & Biphenyl-A Free soft bottles for bottom feeding being marketed. Is the Revolution that we're back at cancer causing crap after passing on them with the Analogs?

Also, many plastics on the market are rated "Not known to leach any chemicals that are suspected of causing cancer or disrupting hormones." This does not mean they do not leach other things tho, which they may, depending on the contents and PH. And we are Inhaling this stuff which is a whole different cat then eating, shampooing our hair or holding paints.

Seeing no plastic type markers on any of the bottles of juice makes DIY ever more appealing! I like companies like Halo juice, Nice glass bottles! Juicy Clear has been using 30ml hard plastic, which at least appear to be of the safer quality. I have yet to taste or smell any bad plastic from the average juice bottle but these soft bottom feeders bottles need better examination.

Sorry for ranting on, I do Love the Bottom feeder concept and want success with it, I just haven't seen any safe bottles to implement it included with the Revolution or after market.

All the same Aties and cartos, 306LR, Smoketech XL LR, Boge & Boge LR, Kanger 510.. All the same batteries, eGo's, Revolution, self made boxes.. The Revolution if used without a feeder is fine. As soon as I place a bottle in it and let it sit or use it for about a day the juice tastes of plastic. This is with the included bottle that came with the revolution and after-markets. It's not in my head, 2 friends verified it but another can't detect it. I've always been good at detecting plastic taste and this concerns me for all vapers. I disagree with the soft plastic bottom feeder bottles being the same as our juice order bottles. The pliable Softness is not the same and a dead giveaway. The base plastic may be the same, most likely PolyEthylene, but softeners have been added.

There's better quality and quality control with Tupperware, Glad and Ziplock containers then China un-labled bottles. Tupperware did change their plastics over the years, but I still won't use them, lolz. I only use Ziplock or Glad containers and have yet found any detectable leachants with them. They also have the plastic type on them, the number in the Recycle symbol.

I have so many mod parts here, would love to make bottom feeders!! I will be exploring this topic further when I have time. I may send samples out to my cousins lab for analysis. If there is any vinyl or Biphenyl-A in these cheep China bottles, it's not worth loosing my nuts over for a vape!

i was daydreaming and if you used a glass bottle u could increase the size of the tubing a little and it would self feed
u would have to get the size just right or have a mechanism to either pinch the tube or block the hole to prevent over feeding though
consistency of juice would be hard to control so u may need a shut off to the tubing but it would be sweet to self feed i just dont understand the concept but that would definitely solve ur prob
or search for some high qualit plastic bottle to use in your feeder

I can say that despite $1000.00's of $ spent and multiple toys as I write this I'm dripping into my ego. Cart's mod's desk covered with crap but I sit here dripping into my Ego cause dktab @ 3.2 is my fav.

Let me know if you want to part with any of your toys :D
