Revolution, Reo or self made bottom feeder.. it does not matter if I taste plastic in the juice after sitting overnight. I don't know if it's because of the sweetener or the Nicotine/PH but any abnormal alteration in the juice like that can not be good for people.
My doctor warned me about the softer plastics due to leaching. One tip he had was to look for the Hard & Clear plastics like you see with Drinking water and Coca-Cola (safest) and be careful with a lot of the Distilled water being sold, ..which a lot of the times is the softer white-ish plastic. I can taste the plastic in those cheap Distilled water jugs from the supermarkets and drugstores easily!
I don't consider leaving cancerous analogs behind and potentially trading it for cancer promoting & hormones disrupting plastic leachants from soft bottles a wise direction. I'm not seeing Polyvinyl & Biphenyl-A Free soft bottles for bottom feeding being marketed. Is the Revolution that we're back at cancer causing crap after passing on them with the Analogs?
Also, many plastics on the market are rated "Not known to leach any chemicals that are suspected of causing cancer or disrupting hormones." This does not mean they do not leach other things tho, which they may, depending on the contents and PH. And we are Inhaling this stuff which is a whole different cat then eating, shampooing our hair or holding paints.
Seeing no plastic type markers on any of the bottles of juice makes DIY ever more appealing! I like companies like Halo juice, Nice glass bottles! Juicy Clear has been using 30ml hard plastic, which at least appear to be of the safer quality. I have yet to taste or smell any bad plastic from the average juice bottle but these soft bottom feeders bottles need better examination.
Sorry for ranting on, I do Love the Bottom feeder concept and want success with it, I just haven't seen any safe bottles to implement it included with the Revolution or after market.
